Salam Alekum everyone,

I was recently nominated under “FSW Backlog Reduction Pilot” by Ontario and have applied for PR to CIO, Nova Scotia in November. I had a couple of questions for our more experienced forum member and would appreciate clarification:

- I've been confused by different processing times for PNP applications provided by London VO (6 months) and CIC (23 months) website. Can anybody confirm the going trend (Actually I've got the option to apply for Open Work Permit so want to be sure if its worth the hassle as it also takes 4 to 9 months).
- My understanding was that next step after CIO submission is that CIO/Visa office (not sure) asks for writeup on plans to settle in Canada and some other documents within 60-day timeframe. However, recent applicant in my stream seem to be waiting for MR after AOR (CIO). Would appreciate if someone could summarize next stages and timeline after submission to CIO.

Thanks,
Fahad

Hi, i was also confused, so i emailed the london VO directly asking them to clarify the waiting time for PR for PNP nominees, i emailed them twice, once from my email account and once from my wifes. Both replies stated that the processing time was 6 months. I know of some UK applicants who's application took 4 months and know some who are still waiting after 9 months. It all depends on background checks and medicals, my guess is if you are an applicant from outside the UK then its going to take longer.

Regards

Andrew

Anyone please guide me... 14 months gone and still my ecas is "Application Received". Should I send a case specific inquiry or request gcms notes? Which is better and will not slow down the process?

Thanks in advance.

WoW...thats speedy :)

PPR1 is taking 2-6 months now a days but usually applicants(except MPNP) got it after 2 months.

Wish you all the best.

Hi sabif

Well I'll suggest both. Send them a "CSE"(once a month) & request for GCMS notes too.

PR processing is damn slower when it comes to MPNP applicants ??? Don't know why :(

Who is your P.A(Program Assistant)?

Wish you all the best.
