There is no 2nd AOR. You'll get Add. Doc. Request or may be Add. Doc. Req. along with MR & RPRF.

Dear Ume Rayan
how much money is required to show proof of fund in provincial nominee program? We are 3 members and i have sent my bank statement of 16000 canadian dollars. I am AINP applicant.

Previously this much funds use to be sufficient i.e $10,000 for Principle applicant & $2,000 for each dependent. So for three members total funds required were $14,000.

But now you'll need more funds to prove that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. According to current requirement, You'll require $17,011 in your bank account as a proof of funds.

As advised in our correspondence dated 24 April 2013, and 30 May 2013, your file is currently under review.

Our office will contact you should we require any further information or documentation.

As you did Medical in March & review of medical takes 4-6 months usually(although now a days its taking longer). So most probably you'll get PPR1 in or after July.

I did medical in January but still waiting for PPR1. There are couple of applicants who did medical in December 2012 & they didn't get PPR1 yet.

how are you today. i m bit cofuse that should i retake Test or not. I have sent IELTS Result with overall 5 band. and worry they will accept it or not.
Who is that person who you know personally 4.5 Band and what is his time line.

Not sure about SINP but for MPNP ..Ielts is mandatory now..bur bands req is as low as i thnk 5 bands all over,,so its just a formality for provincial nominees

He was Alberta Nominee. It took him 13-14 months to get PR visa.

Strike causing delays for Canadian visa applicants

Continuing industrial action by the Canadian Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) is causing increasingly long waits for Canadian visa applicants who apply abroad.

PAFSO is the union for Canadian government staff who work in other countries. Its members include immigration staff as well as diplomats, lawyers and economists. PAFSO members have been engaged in industrial action since June 6th.

Union will escalate industrial action if its demands are not met.

There has been a series of co-ordinated walk-outs by PAFSO members. The union warns that its action will escalate if its demands are not met. The union says that its members are paid between CAN$3,000 and $14,000 per year less than government workers in other departments who do similar work.Members have been working shorter hours, PAFSO has 1,350 members.
