Hi all,

Well just after I had lost faith and slagged off London VO, 5 minutes later I received an email from them (Are they monitoring this site?) asking for a detailed explanation as to how I will economically establish my self once in Canada and supply 6 months bank statements (This seems common with most applicants). This was submitted with our MPNP application (Settlement Plan 1&2) they want it again? It even says on the email that they realise as a PNP applicant that we have submitted this information before but want it again? Oh well just have to gather what they want and send it off with a smile.

The strange thing is, they have also requested RPRF payment but no MR, thought RPRF & MR were requested together? They also informed me that they reviewed our application in London on the 5th March and have given us a new Ref number?

So eventually movement, so that's good, hopefully everyone else will see progress shortly.

Asking for a detailed explanation as to how I will economically establish myself once in Canada and supply 6 months bank statements.

Thanks for your update, seems like a standard email from LVO, seems that almost everyone is being asked for this information. What was the date that they reviewed your application, it states this date at the start of the email. I have updated the Tracking Sheet.

They have asked me to provide answers to bullets 1,2 &4. please suggest.
below is the txt

Canada. Please describe in as much detail as possible what you have done to prepare for a possible
move to Canada as well as what you would plan to do after you arrive in Canada, and how your
particular circumstances will contribute to your ability to become economically established. Your
explanation must be written by you, in your own words, and not copied from someone or somewhere
else. If you already have a job offer from an employer in Canada, please provide proof, including a
current offer letter, full details of the job title, its location, the job duties, and also an explanation of
the process by which you obtained the job offer. If you have professional and/or trade qualifications,
provide evidence that these qualifications will be recognized for employment in Canada.
4. if you have work experience in your field of education or training, describe exactly what you
did in your job. Your description must be written by you, in your own words, and not copied from
someone else.
Please tell me
1- do I need to have my educational documents verified from canada
2- regarding proof of funds I dont have enough money in bank can I show the property documents as a proff of settlemnt.
3- any txt suggestions for how will I settle in canada!

EFL is just the visa section not the visa officer, everyone sends info to this address.

Chief I need to ask one thing. the detailed explanation hoe to become economically established in Canada should be hand written or can we type and get the print out and send it to them. one more thing all required documents should send by courier or could be scan and email?

Mate quite acceptable to type out your documents and then print, as long as its your own. I have to send RPRF with mine so can't scan it and send by email, it dose say to send to the address on the email/letter attachment. You can send it by courier or registered post. If I were you I would send it as a PDF document by email, as long as your application number is in the subject heading it should get there. Don't foget to sighn any documents before you upload. Hope this helps.

How do I know that my occupation is regulated or non regulated as my NOC code is 2171 MIS/ System Analyst category.

Your occupation is not regulated, your qualifications attained from your country will be recognised. Regulated occupations include: Lawyers, teachers, Doctors, Nurses etc.

Salam Alekum everyone,

I was recently nominated under “FSW Backlog Reduction Pilot” by Ontario and have applied for PR to CIO, Nova Scotia in November. I had a couple of questions for our more experienced forum member and would appreciate clarification:

- I've been confused by different processing times for PNP applications provided by London VO (6 months) and CIC (23 months) website. Can anybody confirm the going trend (Actually I've got the option to apply for Open Work Permit so want to be sure if its worth the hassle as it also takes 4 to 9 months).
- My understanding was that next step after CIO submission is that CIO/Visa office (not sure) asks for writeup on plans to settle in Canada and some other documents within 60-day timeframe. However, recent applicant in my stream seem to be waiting for MR after AOR (CIO). Would appreciate if someone could summarize next stages and timeline after submission to CIO.
