I am facing the same problem as you. HR does not want to add anything more than what stated in the initial contract (it's 7 years ago). but my job scope and duties changes a lot.

Now I was working in a private university, and asked my administration for employment certificate, but they denied on the grounds that we can not give you the detailed description of your workdone.
My Heads knew the work done by me, but they cannot give it on company letterheads
Please advice for the current and previous experience certificates
