I applied on 15th March... Today I got an email from CIC stating that there was an update pertaining to my application but there was nothing. They haven't asked for any additional documents. How many updates you got from CIC after submitting your application?

I got 2 requests. The first is for Fingerprints and the second is for Transcripts and employment letter.

My classes are for September 2016, so no worries. But I applied through visa office and they have submitted my application along with passport. I have to go to Pakistan in May, and cant go without passport so this is the big problem for me.

I am a Nigerian, applied online on February 21st, did biometrics on February 23 in khobar, and later submitted some documents like transcripts, updated passport and updated acceptance letter using case specific enquiries. Although, CIC did not request for the documents, but I felt they may be required, and didn't want delay. But I think it is better to apply with all the documents at once.
And I received a request for original passport on 11th of April.

Nothing bro
