I applied online on March 2nd and did the biometrics in Jeddah on March 13th. On April 5th they asked me to submit my education transcripts and an employment letter. I uploaded the required documents on the same day and they even haven't reviewed the uploaded till this moment yet. The status is still provided not received.
It seems they need a longer time as a process for non Saudi citizens.

Yes I did mail them last week and I was told that my application was under process.

Got an update in my cic account that my application has been approved, and received an email from the vac that my processed passport has been dispatched from the visa office to the visa application center

I applied online study permit on 13 Feb 2016 and still waiting. 3 days later submit my application i received a notification saying "your application has been updated" but nothing has changed in the status.

It is unusual to see very few applicants who applied for study permits from Saudi? If there is any one who applied and is not part of this group, please share the timelines so that we can track the expected time

CIC must change the announced process time for applications within Saudi Arabia from 4 weeks to 8 weeks at least!

Assalam o Aliekum,

I am planing to apply at end of May for student Visa Sep 2016 Fall. Last time I applied with all necessary documents but CIC refused my visa application. Lets hope better for this time insha Allah.
