Hello please i need your help, my EE application was rejected because i was missing a doc, am trying to create a new profile but i cant, after going through the "come to Canada" questions i get a number, but when i go to my CIC i dont see a link to use in creating my EE pofile.

Also status of my application is still Open on MYCIC and on CIC website. my application was rejected yesterday, what can i do, thanks. :'(

If you have the missing document, submit a case specific inquiry and upload the missing documents. This is what almost every one here did so... some got the application reopened, others still waiting.

Your status won't change until they update the system which takes place every Tuesday. Mine got canceled on a Thursday and was still in process until the following Tuesday when the system got updated and it is gone. your CIC will not show your old profile, and you will receive a message that it has been updated but with no updates feasible to you. so don't freak out! You should find an Express Entry box under your CIC to be able to upload your file. I hope you can do so, mine got intelligible and I can't figure out why - nothing has changed since the last profile, but maybe they have changed any of the criteria... don't know!

Did you get this after submitting a case specific inquiry? when did you submit your inquiry? how long did it take until you receive this final rejection message?

We need to see if there is a pattern here. People who got their files reopened submitted the CSE within a day or two of the initial cancellation letter, then they got their application reopened after about 20 days.

The day I got my cancellation email I sent a CSE, to see exactly why it was cancelled. A few days later I get the exact same email with the cancelation letter so no answer to my CSE. I just gave up on my file and started a new EE profile. Then I tried again last week to send another CSE to ask why it was cancelled and when I would get a refund. This time I get a better answer but still cannot have case re opened. But I get my new ITA last week so I'm back on track.

From the people who got their application reopened, have you created a new EE profile while you were waiting for the reply from CIC? Just got my application cancelled due to the mix-up with my information and thus my documents being "incomplete", submitted a Case Specific Inquiry to CIC and I hope to get my application reopened. But I'm not sure whether I should create another profile and hope for the new draw or wait for the reply from CIC. I don't want to create more confusion by creating a new profile, I will run into the same problem with the new profile so I would prefer CIC take a look at my case and provide me with an answer but at the same time afraid of missing a draw that would give me another chance to explain my situation...

It is mentioned on the PCC specific-page for Australia under "special notes and considerations":

Since PCC is on the document checklist, applicants should check the detailed requirements for their country on the CIC page.

The document checklist does not determine automatically which countries you need to get a PCC for. You need to work it out yourself and read about the specific requirements on the country-specific page. List of all countries is here:

I highly recommend to check this because there are some countries for which you do not need to provide a PCC upfront (i.e. before you apply). This can save a lot of headache.

Correct, I had it all ready but attached a new police cert (as the old one was technically too old by the time I could submit it), and didn't scan+copy it with the traffic history.

Guys I just received my new pcc today and I sent a second CSe( my application was cancelled On may 19) , How do I know if they are going to reopen it or if I have to proceed with my other profile with which I have received ita last week? Please So advice

Proceed with another profile as back up and be positive about CIC reopening your application

Technically you have 60 days minus the week passed since you received the new ITA... if all your docs (especially PCC) can be valid before the end of the 60 days, I would suggest to wait until you hear back from CIC. From what I've seen it takes about 20 days to respond. You can upload all your docs and wait on hitting submit for 2 weeks or so.

I don't know if there is any one submitted another application then go the old one reopened, so wouldn't suggest anything... Use your own judgment here!

I just went back on the cic website and started exactly as I had the first time. I did not create a new myCIC account, I kept the same one.

Yes I got my answer from CIC, I must upload both my original degree cert and my ECA report. So hopefully I get it right this time. I did have an ECA and I'm applying under FSW.

Did they re- opened your application? When did you send the cse emal ? I want to find out how long it took fpr them to reply and open your application .

They did not re open my original application. I didn't try to get it reopened as the email I received said this was not possible. I just started a new application.
