Here is our timeline:

2017-08-09 - Passport Request
2017-08-28 - Passport received back with visa affixed

In our case it took 19 days. However, we were living in USA at that time and we had to send via FedEx passport to Turkey and back. If your spouse in Turkey already, then remove 9 days for FedEx shipment. That will give you around 10 days.

I was wondering if anyone in the Ankara thread can help me

My husband just got his PPR and they asked him to submit his passport at the VAC office in Turkey.

Do any of you know how long it takes typically to from PPR to receiving the passport back?

Hi @tracker_01 thanks for sharing It took us 3 days! Requested: March 5, mailed out March 6th. Returned passport with visa affixed: March 9th.

It was incredibly fast!

Hi @Aref.P , you will have to go through each month on the spreadsheets which is what I did as well. Here is an example of one timeline to help you gage what it might be like:

Application Received: Oct 16, 2017

=exactly 5 months from start to finish in this case.

For some (seems like the Iranian applicants specifically), it's very long - due to the background check, and for others, it's actually quite quick. It all really depends on each case, but I've heard, the Ankara VO is generally quite fast compared to London.

The reason I am asking is that, once passport request stage reaches, I would like to take my own passport there & submit it to the VO personally.
