Has anyone tried TRV for wife while waiting for sponsorship from Iran, Any luck?

Yes we had two applicants who could got TRV under the dual intention, but many were rejected or their TRV went to security screening as well.

You mean the sponsor lives in another province now and is going to send an application for the spouse sponsorship? You need CSQ if you apply from Quebec and the spouse/applicant is going to live in Quebec.

There is no written rule. IRCC called couple of sponsors in Canada to make sure they are in. But 1-3 months may be ok.

Hi I don't know if anyone is still checking this thread, but I was away for a while and I just updated the profile. My husband got PPR email 7 Dec and landed Jan 22nd 2018.

Congratulations! Am happy to read this today! My wife is expecting our first child (a boy) first week of June.
