Congratulation!!!

We all know for sure that when it comes to husbands, for some reasons it takes forever. And it's totally unfair. So what if they are in military, it should be a time limit for security checks. Today, it's exactly 3 months since my husband had interview. And Ankara remains a mystery.

Remember I said my friend's wife got visa the same way? They were waiting for around 11 months, and right before her medicals were about to expire, Ankara called her for an interview. Interview was very short and at the end they stamped her visa. BUT it's very individual, I wouldn't compare my case to any other case because each case has its own timing.

InshaAllah PPR is almost here for us, just a tiny bit more patience :)

Oh right I forgot. There must be different types of interviews. Your husband's interview was most to check about eligibility. Maybe the interviews which come later are more for security and they pass security the same day as interview. Just a guess.

I doubt it, she was asked questions about their relationship and relatives, so it was part of eligibility. So seems like eligibility was the last thing they had to wrap up, weird because it's usually the very 1st thing on their list. Stage process might differ sometimes I guess.
I've never heard about security interviews, security is top secret and they won't reveal about their findings about you :(

They are not Persians. She received an interview invitation a month prior to her interview date, her interview was very short and they stamped her visa:)

Hello friends,

urgent need! Just today I received a request from VO. The inquiry is the following:
Passport:
 Please provide copies of the passport bio – page for yourself and each family member accompanying you to Canada. These should be the passports you will be submitting for visa issuance if a visa is granted and be valid for at least one year. Please note that ordinary passports are the only type of passports into which a permanent resident visa may be inserted. Diplomatic, official, and other special passports are not acceptable. This must be received at this office by: 2017/04/08

As all copies of my passport was included in my initial documents, now I have no idea why another one is requested! However my passport will be expired in August 2017! So do you think I must provide a new passport which be valid at least for one year!! Cos in Iran is going to be near new year holiday and I have no idea getting a new passport will take how long!
thank you!

Hi everyone! I know this is the FAM category but I was wondering if you guys new anyone waiting to hear from Ankara VO regarding Express Entry - FSW - OINP? I can't find anyone on the site, so I don't know if Ankara VO is slower than other visa offices or maybe its faster, I don't know. Thanks in advance
