Best thing to do is probably ask the local MP office to enquire on your behalf. My wife did this about 3 weeks ago in Toronto being that she currently resides there and they mentioned that it is in the works at the moment and to not send too many emails or requests. They received our application on February 6th and it seems like it defers from case to case as far as when you will receive PR. Our GCMS notes from June stated our application is due by March 2017. I have sent emails but no responses from any of them regarding updates. So at this point just stay positive , check your GCMS notes if you haven't already, look at your due date and see when the app is due. If like my wife and I, you will see around same time frame (March-ish..) which we only have a few months left at worst until march anyways.

It helps and comforts me to know that we are all going through the same struggles and missing our loved ones. I know as much as you do that this hurts and it is hard to be away from loved ones but at least it will all come to an end eventually. For me specifically 8 months and counting. Have faith and let time take care of the rest. Share your thoughts with this forum and you may feel better! lol

Thanks ProCan... What baffles me is in the notes we even see that they have issued the Visa and COPR and on the last page last line it says Please request Passport. Do you have the same thing too?
And under Eligibility section it says due date March 2017..

Then you should definitely contact them. Having Decision Made for over 2 months and no further word is reason enough for them to answer you.

I believe we had another person on here from Mexico who was in the same situation. He received GCMS notes stating officer should ask for passport. However for about 2 months he or she didnt receive any news. Maybe like PM stated, give your local rep a visit to see what's up..?

Yes PMC i am already in Canada and I am the sponsor. Ours is an Outland Case so my spouse is not in Canada, never been.

PMC92- I had one, they requested me to come to Ankara back in June, however I live in Texas under DACA and cannot leave the US. So i requested to be interviewed in USA after my wife spoke with the MP's office in toronto to move my app. Ankara responded and sent my app to Los Angeles...Now just waiting on Los Angeles. As far as Los Angeles, i do not know if they will require an interview however I'm assuming so or maybe they will cancel the interview. haha :

I agree with PMC... but just to make sure, i would advise you to request the GCMCS Notes, if not already requested
