I asked that is it possible to let me know about my husband status ?

You're likely to receive a generic answer about having to wait for background and security checks outcome.

NO means number I think, but no matter, i didn't fill in this part because it didn't have * sign, so I left it empty:-)
I hope they answered me ASAP:-)

I hope you mentioned the applicant's file number or UCI number to them?

It's funny, a friend of mine sent a message to Ankara office, and they replied right away. It seems that they work on Sundays.

Wow, great to hear at least two instances of some sort of an activity on a weekend. Maybe we will see some good movement on our front soon :)

Thank you! It showed up last night on eCAS, but it says they started processing it on Feb 8th :)

I guess we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Hi Katia,

Most people here are sponsoring their partners. I don't know much about parents cases except for what I've read.

For sponsoring parents, you can look at the timelines here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-parents.asp

Unfortunately, the processing time is really long (50 months) but this is for 80 percent of the cases, and yours might finish much sooner.

Also, there is a thread where people discuss sponsorship for parents and grandparents. Take a look:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/parents-sponsership-joine-here-t91654.0.html

Best wishes.

At least, they started processing it. Otherwise, just keeping it long without information was worse. Hope we will be processed soon.

Oh tell me about it. The seven months that they didn't even touch our file was so difficult to bear! Fortunately, all is behind now. I think we have passed the background checks, because we received a note from them today that they've requested a medical extension from London. :) As far as I know they only do it if the only thing holding up the decision is the medical.

I hope we will all get over this period soon!

Would be nice if you get the PPR soon as it is already more than 6 months has passed, and 8 Feb is not the day when they started processing your application but when started thinking of finalising the case.

London? I thought this was done in Paris!

I also thought it was Paris, but they said London!

Oh I hope the same for all of us :)

What medical office is mentioned in your (how many sets did you order?) GSMC notes?

It says London there, too.

Hahaha, I've ordered quite a few but all of them were identical: no activity. I haven't received the most recent one yet. last one is from mid-December.

Where is yours?
