What number do you use to call them? The helpline number you mentioned in your previous posts? I haven't tried that one yet. I tried calling the one on the embassy's website (90 322 4092700) but it's an automated response, there's no response. By the way, what kind of response did they give you? Did they just tell you it's in process or did they give you more info?

I actually tried yours and got the same feedback (automatic respond), then sent an email, no feedback, but u might also try an other contact on this page;http://vfsglobal.ca/canada/Turkey/contactus.html haven't tried it yet.

Did you made your medical test?! if yes, when have you done it?

Hey guys I have a question as I'm a noob when it comes to checking applications. Other than your own application, How do you guys check what applications the embassy is currently working on?

Since your husband is in Turkey, ask him to drive by the embassy to see if it's open. Maybe they're closed for renovations. Lol! We wouldn't know the difference since they don't answer their phones or emails anyways.

Maybe some visa officers are on summer holidays. It's just ridiculous that there hasn't been any action in the whole month of July! Also the embassy will be closed on July 28 and 29 due to Eid holidays.

Exactly! They never miss a holiday opportunity! Canadian public holidays, Turkish public holidays, Muslim and Christian religious holidays... Are they hiring???

No news last two days was Eid, so perhaps in August. I really thought that I'd get to see my husband this summer but with this slow processing, don't think anything will happen soon. We have to be strong and hope for the best.

I've never tried fax, it's worth a try. Go for it, it won't hurt.
