Ankara - Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Applications

Unfortunately, 300 visas in total for all countries that under responsobility of Ankara: Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan... So, probably it's about 30 visas per country...

I have a question for you. My friend is going to sponsor his parents. Do you have any idea about new roles for sponsoring parents? I knew that it is going to start again on 2014 .but could not find any link or any document for that.

As far as I know, it starts on January 2nd 2014 and they will accept only 5000 sponsorship applications per year on first come first served base. More requirements to sponsor: they will need to show income for the last 3 years (in our case was the last year). The sponsorship obligations will be 20 years (in our case is 10 years)...

My parents provided police certificate from the home country (Iran) when their file was transferred to Ankara last year and their medical results are there now. Is there another security clearance check after this or it has already been done?

I would recommend you to order the GCMS notes and take a look on the records. It costs only $5, but it takes about 30 days to get it...

That is true. I am from Sep., 2009 though . I have not seen any new applicants here. I mean applicants from 2010 and 2011. They need to clear these 2 years as well.

My mom received. It took 10 days with the mail time. It was very fast.
