Yes, my mom did medical last week. The medical results were received in London on Monday, Nov18 and on Friday Nov.22 we got the passport request. I think they communicate electronically, it is why it can be done that fast. OMG, I still can not beleive in it!!!!

I think my mom had an appointment on the next day after she phoned. It was not busy. She told, the doctor was really nice and everything was done really fast.

They said from 4-6 weeks, after they received the passport. If you go yourself it is on the next day normally, but not garanteed.

WoW ! So, you might celebrate the 2014 New Year with your Mom in Canada already ! 4-6 weeks is very fast !

if your passport expires on an earlier date, the visa will expire on that earlier date. I think the passport has to be valid no less than a year at the moment of visa issue. IMHO

I think the passport must be valid for at least 6 months, otherwise they won't issue a visa

You guys who received the medical forms recently: have you sent the police certificate to Ankara before??? or did they ask for it along with your medicals???????????? Pleaseeeeee answer!!! getting worried now as I haven't heard anything from the visa office yet! THANKS SO MUCH!

You are almost done! WOW! Sorry I had a question about Police Certificate. It seems that you sent it to them a few month ago. Just wondered if you received a request for that on that time?? I haven't heard back from them since my file is transfered to Ankara on may 2012. And haven't sent them the police certificate yet. Should I send it now????????

I sent it with the full package last year. They did not request another one. The status of the security check in the notes was "passed".
