Finaly my parents and my sister got thire Medical request email. ;D

Congratulations !!! The medical request for the Sponsorship program or multiple visa ?

Cheers !

My parents got 1) medical request for immigration paper work 2) medical request for visit visa online embassy. They have already completed their medical for immigration.
Do they need to complete their medical for visit visa as well or above medical will cover for both?
In case that they need to do the visit visa as well, do they need to pay the physician fees and do all the tests again or the same physician could fill out their visit visa medical referring to their immigration medicals with no or minimal cost ?
I tried to email Ankara and asked them but so far have not received any respond.

If they cannot finish the medical test within the time which been specified by visa officer what they should do?[quote Congratulations !!! The medical request for the Sponsorship program or multiple visa ?

Cheers !

I think they should go for the medical test in order to complete the sponsorship process. Once it's done your parents need to write in the letter to the visa officer that there are the results of the medical test from the sponsorship program (you should provide the file/application number of the sponsorship program). The problem that the different officers are taking care of the permanent and temporary visas. So you need to show them that there are the medical results but they belong to the sponsorship program...

thank you so much for your help i just got the email from ankara
"Dear applicantsThank you for your email. If you undergo the Immigration medical examination you don’t need to do the medical examination required for temporary visa.As the process of your Immigration visa is in its final stages please confirm that you still would like to pursue your visitor visa procedure. Best regards"
it seems that i just need to confirm that i still like to pursue visitor visa.

I think they meant about the Temporary visas. The Permanent visas is quite different stroy...
Finally I have got the medical requiest!!!!!! I got it through e-mail. Hopefully you get the one as well, cause we have the same time frame. My file was open in December 07, 2012 in Ankara.

I think now they will push all our files. See the link:

Minister Chris Alexander today pledged aggressive action to reunite more families in 2014. Alexander also announced that the backlog of Parent and Grandparent (PGP) program applications will be almost 50 percent lower by the end of 2013 than it was just two years ago.

The Government is on track to surpass its commitment to admit 50,000 parents and grandparents to Canada over two years (2012 and 2013), and Canada intends to welcome an additional 20,000 in 2014. The admission of an additional 20,000 parents and grandparents in 2014 is part of the annual levels plan tabled yesterday by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
