I got DM in November , passport request this January

nope. mine was received by IRCC last week and no update.

i called VFS office erbil today.. the woman told me that she's expecting to receive the batch of mail between 10 to 15 of Feb.. they didn't receive back any passport submitted back during Dec 2020.. it seems of course that they send the passports together as per the month submitted, and not once it is ready.
so hopefully by next week..

Yes probably.Amman is a slow office abd plus Covid is causing more delays

hope so.. actually the main concern now is the travel restriction.. it seems they will allow immigrants to come soon:
1) PM said that vaccines will be available for immigrants as well
2) ... as soon as possible, after few weeks, all travelers coming to Canada should show a negative covid test...
3) Ontario's mayor (or ruler) said that on Monday they will announce something related to economy restart..
4) PM trudeau said that Canada will start producing vaccines..

Until April 30 they will talk about what their doing for travel restrictions hoping with warm weather this virus goes away inshallah and we don’t have to deal with nothing and go home when we get to airport

This is easy to maneuver around. I'm just getting really impatient with the response time. Its completely unexpectable. Its been 2 months since we've passed the medicals and no word yet.
