From canadian embassy in amman( facebook page), they will resume working tomorrow and hopefully the Visa office as well. Tomorrow all sectors in full capacity will resume working in jordan as they officially announced it.

Following Ministerial Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration of Canada on April 9 and on April 29, 2020, applicants can no longer submit an application for temporary residence in paper at the VAC. New Ministerial Instructions issued on May 19, 2020 have extended this measure until June 9, 2020. All applications for temporary residence must continue to be submitted online via IRCC’s website:

What means with temporary residence? I don't think this applies to any of us on this group. We applied for permanent residence spousal sponsorship so I think we have to search for updates on permanent residence applications.

yes i did two weeks ago an no reply not even the automated one !

That's what i understood so no paper applications until June 9 and it has to be online.
It doesn't mention anything about existing applications or office opening.
