Everytime my applicant approaches the processing time for Amman applicants CIC updates an even longer wait time. My MP was supposed to contact me weeks/months ago and now no news if heard from them. On one email a representative from Jason Kenney's office sent me, specified and even PROMISED for updates on his file as soon as I sent the privacy act form which I did immediately. I'm not surprised I haven't heard back.

Dear ____________

I am replying to your correspondence of May 17, 2012, addressed to the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, concerning Mr. _____________ 's application. I apologize for the delayed response.

As the Privacy Act prohibits the release of information on our clients without their written consent. This legislation was designed to protect a person's right to privacy when dealing with Canadian government institutions.
I would be happy to provide you with a status update Mr. __________'s application, as soon as you are able to provide the form Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual, completed and signed by your _____________ .

Thank you for taking the time to write. I trust that this information is of assistance.

Its very said I tell ya (Full-Of-Hope)...Hes currently in Jaramana Syria and is fighting for his life. He can't even go to sleep cause of the sounds of bombings, explosions and gunfire's, helicopters shooting everywhere. I told him to leave Syria and move to a near by country (Amman or Lebanon) but he insists to stay till they call for a PPR. Its even risky now crossing the borders cause the countries fighting. F the Canadian system. All those people currently in Syria are desperately struggling to save their lives, you'd think they would be a priority to have them out of the country as soon as possible. Sadly that is not the case, not even after 19 months of patience.

I have a question, Im planning on visiting my husband in iraq mid september. Will this delay or effect our sponsorship in any way? And how long can I stay there?

I complete my 17 months today, i hope to hear good news from the embassy in September insha allah.

It's really should be address immediately ! I can imagine how bad the situation over there from what I can see in the media all I can say May Allah be with all Syrian people who are suffering from those dictator and inshallah your husband will get his PPR as soon as possible
Ameen for all of us too.
