for my wife's ecas it says:


We received your application for permanent residence on July 28, 2011.

Medical results have been received.
I don't know what to tell you because I never had that sentence until recently. I think they would say second medical results received? or am I wrong ... if someone has had experience with this please share.

Stay optimistic I think we will hear something soon inshallah! But I do hope Khalid and Canada girl hear something before us!

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are now in the final stages of processing and request that you send the following documents to our office in Amman, Jordan:



ORIGINAL individual valid passport, for yourself and all/each accompanying family members
2 recent photos (35 mm x 45 mm, white background) for yourself and each accompanying family member.
Copy of this letter


Please note, this does not guarantee that a visa will be issued.



Your passports MUST be received at our Embassy in Amman no later than 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure to provide the requested documents within the given timeframe could result in the refusal of your application. You are strongly encouraged to send your passport(s) via courier (if this service is available in your country) to avoid wait times at the Embassy.



EXPECTED VISA EXPIRY DATE:



If a visa is issued, it will be given the MAXIMUM VALIDITY of January 17 ,2013 OR the expiry date of your passport whichever date comes first. You must arrive in Canada on or before this date, it cannot be extended or renewed.



Passports: Each person must have their own passport, including minor children. Any passport changes after the visas are printed will result in a Replacement of an Immigration Document charge ($30.00 CDN) for each visa that needs to be reprinted.

Alternatively, you can approach the Embassy of Canada in Amman with valid passport(s) and two recent photos (35 mm X 45 mm, white background) for yourself and all accompanying family members.



Passports may be submitted Sunday to Wednesday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. When you submit your passport(s), you will be informed of the date and time to return to collect your passport(s). You can authorise a third person to collect your passport(s). The authorised person must present a letter of consent (see below) and identification.



**NOTE: You must bring this letter with you if you are submitting your passports in person in order to verify your file information and to avoid delays.

bassem this is for permanent residency so its for PR not visitor visa. It is really good sign elhamdallah once you send those documents in you will get the visa on your passport and you can land in Canada where within a few weeks you will get your permanent residence card! Mabroook! you are done this procedure!

Make sure to travel to Canada before January 17 though! So book your ticket as soon as you get the stamp on the visa!

Congradualtion bassem123. and best wishes . Send them your passport as fast as u can or I tell u what: take it yourself to the embassy and u will be in Canada before the end of the year. Do it if u can. The Embassy are giving u A CHRISTMAS PRESENT. You deserve and do not forget to say to them thank you for this lovely present and Mary Christmas to all of you. is that right ? so your whole process took 7 months ( from AOR ). If that's right .. that's freaking amazing ...

Today our medicals expired...we previously sent an email if we should redo them or not and didn't receive any reply. We were required to send in a police certificate (old ones expired) which we did its been a few weeks. We have not received any updates so far...Any suggestions?
