The embassy emailed me and said our file is still in process. But why didn't they change the status on cic website... It still says application received.

Thats very normal. Dont rely on ecas. Some people arrive to Canada and their ecas was never updated. Always said in process. Dont worry.

Also, they usually continue with the application without notifying you until they need something

Oh, okay. My MP said that she has emailed them again, but no reply. I know it's only been 9 months but I'm so ready to go back to Canada with my husband. I'm a Canadian citizen with a job currently waiting for me whenever I go back. I was thinking about going to the embassy .. Scared to go.

Any one know how long embassy need to stamp visa after sumbit my passport in person

Did you get your Visa or not yet? My husband submitted his Visa in person in Amman, Jordan and it took him nearly a month! It's doesn't have to be the same for you though, that was in our case. Some people I know it took them 3 - 4 days to get their visa stamped. So good luck.. ;D ;D

Ive gone to the embassy manyyyyyyy times for my husbands case which is almist at the 22 month mark. Its still in secuirty check and thats something they cant speed up. They will only give u the status and tell u to wait until they contact u.

Hi, Alf Mabrook and al7amdolilah it's all done. Don't worry it's very normal to get a visa without a photo. As long as they gave you the visa and your landing papers then everything is fine! Good luck on your trip to Canada and in everything you do.

I guess I have to wait. I emailed my MP again and asked her if they have e-mailed her back... But nothing. I asked her how long do I have to wait, I can't live in Jordan anymore. I miss Canada so much. She said the max she had with one of her applicants was 16 months. So I guess I have to wait another 5-6 months
