Hello Everyone,

I am from Pune, thanks Rahul for creating this thread.

I sent my application documents by UPS which was received by Mike (Sydney, NS at CIO - Intake Office) on 3rd Nov 2014.

My NOC is 2173.

Its been more than 130 days now since my application was received at CIO but not a single update received so far. Not even my CC has been charged. Is there any way i can ask them about the status of the same?

Seniors, please advice.

Check the link in the e-mail the VO sent you for medicals, there should be a list. Call up whichever one you choose and ask what documents you need to bring. In my case Dr Garrett in Kitchener only needed my passport.

I don't think so.
Most of the Oct applicants are waiting for second line update.
We should expect this to happen by end March/1st week April.

Hi Guys,

Need some advice.


I am a CVO applicant and have received interview email yesterday. They have asked me to bring the following.

Please bring your passport(s) and the following documents:
- Recent employment reference letter
- Recent Proof of funds
- Your Personal History (Schedule A form, Question 8 details from 18th birthday without gaps.)

I have submitted employment reference letters from two of my past employees who's duties matched my NOC (I had worked for other companies but didn't mention them as their NOC's were not relevant). Company 1 had closed down their operations in my country (back in 2007) and only head office in US is contactable. I had obtained the reference letter from the director who was managing the local operations at that time by contacting him in the US and submitted a copy of the letter with my application.

I had resigned from company 2 just before I submitted my application to CIO (company was likely to close down as it had financial trouble). I had submitted a copy of my resignation acceptance letter along with the reference letter in the application. I am still unemployed. Company 2 had closed down after a few months of my resignation. However mobile number of the HR manager who had signed the letter was included in the letter and is active. (I also have a current visiting card of that HR manager)

My question now is, what are they meaning by Recent employment reference letter ?. Is it a letter from my current employer? (I don't have one, as i am unemployed and freelancing at the moment).

Do you think it's game over for me if VO is unable to verify my letters with the employer? and the fact that I am unemployed currently?. What can I do if the company closed down. Quite worried.

Hi all

I am new to this forum, i have updated the global spreadsheet in name of NK.
NOC 2133
App received date 20.10.2014
DD encashed: 18.12.2014
PER email: 12.1.2015
VO: NDVO

After that no update till now. No second line update also. In between i have changed my job. I sent my job change documents to NDVO on 6.2.2015.
Can you please clarify whether job change is reason for delay. thanks

most files having PER received in jan-15 onwards are transferred either to Colombo vo or Warsaw vo. Have u got AOR from either vo ?.if not yet I advise u to call CIC call center and ask for the status of your file. I doubt it might got transferred... Best wishes.

Well. If it didn't get transferred then that means its still with LVO correct?

CIC mainly transferred NDVO files to other vo. If ur vo is LVO then they stick with it. It is not applicable to ur file..

Thanks for giving us hope that files with Jan PER has started to get MR.
PPR1 is when they ask for the bio pages (copies) of the passport
PPR2 is when they ask for the actual passports for visa stamping.

May we know where did you apply from??

Can I do medical tests before I get a call from the VO? Where can I find the medicals form, is it available online? Do I need the form to do the tests?

I received a request to submit PCC ,My visa office is OTTWA . I dont know on which address I need to send the PCC is it possible I can send it Online via EMail .

Can anybody assist me on this issue
