Hi, yeah during filing my application, I didn’t have a lawyer, but when I started working on the appeal, I signed in a lawyer.

so please keep in touch with your lawyer because every cic request is goes to your lawyer account ?
do you have gc key account ?
and can you access that ?

Hi, yes I do have gckey account, but there’s nothing updated after that refusal made by visa office. Appeal approval is not showing there.

Do not stress over nothing, as soon as you get correspondence all will be updated on ur account.

I can understand but nothing one can do but play along with them because so many applicant had already broken down due to stress and frustration but we need is to uplift one another instead of adding salt to injury.

Hello. I see u are Nigerian. I am too. My husband spousal visa was refused in Ghana may 22nd. Our kids and I are broken and devastated. I just filed the appeal on the 30th of may. I still haven't received appeal confirmation yet. Pls how long did yours take overall?

We really did not get confirmation because we use the service of a lawyer and from time of appeal to when the appeal heard took about 18 months January 2017 to September 2018 and appeal allowed in December 13, 2018 but we did not get update of decision not until 27 December 2018. All Holiday add and file got transfered towards end January 2019. Got pre arrival service letter in end march and updated form request in mid April 2019, till now we are on the wait game... So we are just waiting patiently now

Wow... its really long. I am using a lawyer too. He filed the appeal for me. I pray mine doesn't take this long.. I dont know how I ll handle it. But I leave everything to God. So are u the sponsor or your wife is? How was the hearing ? Was it nerve racking ?

Usually this is almost a guarantee pass, just make sure you and your spouse do a DNA test to strengthen your case. I have seen cases that couple got denied even with a kid, but this is due to fact that the sponsor was caught with marriage of convenience in previous sponsorship aka (sponsor someone in the past and the marriage is fake or the sponsor was sponsored by a Canadian to obtain his/her PR and the marriage is fake)

I win my full hearing on 27 September 2018 and I got request of documents and medical on 28th December while I sent medical on 9th January and it’s passed showing on gckey while PCC IMM forms and passport bio page as well right to permanent residence fee receipt on 27 January after that I hear nothing

if you win your appeal you don’t need to give them pictures travel tickets only if they ask you for them one thing I learn never gave no government officials any information that they didn’t ask for cause that’s when you find yourself in trouble they will request all what they want from you sending tickets and pictures doesn’t mean the officer going to put your case before anyone else so just go with the flow of the officer cause there is nothing you can do right now then pray and wait for them
