What did you get refused for? And do you know if you are going to have a chance to appeal? If you got refused for misrepresentation, unfortunately an apology will not cut it, if you got a chance to appeal then you can try to amend it.

we had some personel problems so we could not celebrate our wedding as its required.
but we told them we did.because somebody told us that yes its possible to do so.we believed that person but latter on we realised it was wrong.

You just have to answer that on time of your appeal. That you are been mis-lead believing by the wrong person advice.

I received passport request few days ago. I have two passports one is expired so my question is should i send both passports or only the latest one ?

Did my landing over the weekend, was a very great and wonderful experience. My timeline are as follows, Filed App Oct, 2014. Aor Feb, 2015. Meds done upfront. Decision made Sep, 2015. Additional documents req, Feb, 2016. Decision made Jul, 2016. Appealed Sep, 2016.ADR Jan, 2017. Appealed allowed Feb, 2017.Meds redone May, 2017. PPR Req May, 2017.Decision made Sept, 2017.Landed Oct, 2017.

I got to the Airport in Canada, the process was rather smooth, I met with an immigration officer who directed me to the self-service counter where you can process yourself, then onto an officer who takes my passport and Corp asked me two question that is already in the Corp, took my address to where my PR card would be mailed, congratulated me and told me that I am now a Permanent Resident, what a great feeling and sigh of relief, met with a wonderful lady who greeted and congratulated me on becoming a new PR. I was also given brochures and info on how to obtain my SIN Card, Medical Card, and all the other benefits.

I would like to admonished to those who are experiencing any delays as such as I have had DON’T GIVE UP,BE PERSISTENT,DO WHAT IT TAKES AND YOU WILL SUCCEED. Best Wishes and God Speed.

Hey guys,Im new on this forum. Can somebody please guide me with what is the average time to process appeal case these days?I got a refusal letter from LVO,claiming that my husband is not eligible to sponsor me as when he applied my case he wasnt living in canada since 5 years.Whereas my husband told me that theyre saying wrong as when he went to canada the law changed a few days/weeks before his arrival so it doesnt apply on him..
We applied in june 2016,and now im done with waiting and dont want to go for appeal as im sure it will take 6-8 months minimum. What do the experts suggest?

He's landing at Quebec. I understand there is a line for ppl staying in Quebec & another for other provinces. He will have to show his boarding passes for Toronto & Regina. Do you know of anyone with recent Quebec landing experience?

My ecas now change "in process "to "decision made.re-medical has been received.
