Did you check your email/spam?

Same here. Ours has been on DM from June 2 and no ppr yet. No email in spam either, I called cic and they said it could take up to 2 months to get a ppr. I'm so upset as to why it takes so long.

We won We won We won!!!!

That`s actually my conjugal spouse`s Facebook Status.

Yes, we won our Full Hearing two hours ago in Calgary. This is Conjugal sponsorship and to those who applied and are planning to apply in this category don`t lose hope.

The Minister`s Counsel interviewed me by phone and it only lasted 30 minutes. After the call they told my spouse right away that we won. Our Judge is Lynne Cunningham.

If you got questions i`m here to answer based on my experience. Thank you all. Now we are waiting again but i hope not for long.

Hey I have some questions can you msg please

We. Won our appeal Dec 20,2016 We sent updated forms April 18,2017 It is now 6 months and no sign of visa. I would like to know how long do people wait for visas after winning appeals ? And is there any way of speeding up the process ? We have been in this process now almost 3 years .

Based on my experience about four months after you emailed Ottawa. I submitted my updated forms and police clearances on February 21, 2017, i got passport Request on May 31, 2017. I just checked my tracking number on VFS UAE website and the Canada Visa Application Center in Abu Dhabi dispatched my documents to Aramex today. I expect my passport to be delivered tomorrow.

That`s ridiculous, TWO Months! I mean they want genuine couples to wait again? Did you call your MP ?

Good day folks,
This is what I read from my gcms note about go conclusion and reason for refusal...
According to go from my divorce conclusion go say he refused bcos he believe I will not stay with my wife if visa granted and that he sees relationship was on for a long time. I don't know where he/she got notion from. And that chat and photographs are minimal but chats I sent was from 2006.
Well appeal was been filed since January and bluebook not yet out and always calling with no update.
I believe when they are ready to hear it or by ADR we are also ready too.

You will get your Blue Book next month. They say Blue book will arrive after 120 days but for a lot of us it took longer than that.
You have to submit more communication between you and your wife. Chat messages for example show meaningful discussions like you talk about your plans, family, celebrations, discuss about expenses, etc. and not just talk about immigration.
Submit more pictures. Visit your partner, have a lot of pictures with families and friends.
It doesn`t matter to the visa officer if you have a long relationship or even if you have a child together. You have to prove that your partner is not in the relationship just so he/she can immigrate to Canada.

Yes I contacted my MP. I honestly feel like if I didnt actually go to see the MP personally that immigration would have never made a decision yet. So I went back to the MP and they told me to wait 1 more week to see what happens (it's going to be 4 week on Friday since a decision was made). This whole thing is ridiculous:mad::mad:!

Hello Friends, emailed by my representative on 6 June 2017 to CIC. They responded on 12th June 2017 as given below :-

"Dear Sir/Madam,
Your application is in the final stages of review prior to finalization and a decision should be rendered shortly. We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required.

I started a thread but maybe I should've posted here instead, so here goes:

Ok so long story short my husband and I applied outland over two years ago, it was refused under section 4(1) of the IRPA (Bad Faith/Relationship Not Genuine) so we were appealing our spousal sponsorship and we already had a hearing date (which was gonna be next week). We understood we got refused because we barely had enough proof, we were doing this alone and we had no idea what they actually expected to receive. So about a month ago we sent everything we gathered so we could use it at the hearing, which ended up being over 500 pages.
We got a call from the IAD asking if we had received the letter from the Minister, we hadn't received said letter yet. So they said that the Minister read our file and they had approved our appeal and that our file was gonna be sent back to the Visa office for processing. We were super confused so we asked if that meant we didn't have to attend the hearing, to which she replied we didn't. We got home and we received aforementioned letter, talking about our appeal and the file we sent. At the end of the letter we read "After closely reviewing the appellant's disclosure and the Record, the Minister is of the view that the evidence no longer supports the refusal, and that the marriage is not caught by section 4(1) of the Regulations. The Minister consents to the appeal being allowed in law."

I have to admit I'm still somewhat confused. So what happens now? Is the file going to go back to the office for processing and they have to allow it, or can they just refuse it again since there will be no hearing? I've been looking for similar cases but I've had no luck so far. Anybody?

Congratulations, you have been spared the ordeal of the appeal hearing. It is as if you had won the appeal. Your application goes back to the regular processing stream now, and could still be subject to medical checks, security checks, background checks, etc. Check back to the postings of people who have won their appeal to find out what happens next. You will likely have to re-do your medical tests, and Police checks. Probably update several of your forms, as a lot could have changed over the past 2 years.

Thanks for your input! I'm also wondering if I'd have to redo the medical and police checks considering I have never really left Canada since my last medical exam and police check, do you think they'd still want me to get that done? I just remember that cost me a fortune!
