There should be another line in the Ecas "We sent you correspondence about the decision on...."
If this correspondence date is a recent one then 'Decision Made' is after appeal was allowed.

Once you send in your Notice of Appeal and they acknowledge the receipt of it and assign you a file number, you are set. They will automatically send you the appeal notes (blue book). It used to be 120 days; it took 180 days for us to receive ours, but there have been cases where they have received it within a few weeks! But I think 120 days is still the norm. They should say in the Acknowledgement of Receipt.

Hi everyone
As I mentioned in a previous post my husband's application was denied, we submitted an appeal at the IAD and Federal Court. The Federal Court was approved and sent the file for re-determination by another officer. We are now waiting to be contacted by CIC.
I wanted to see if I can link our application, Ecas still shows the previous information.
Am I able, being the sponsor, to link the application or does it have to be the applicant, my husband?
I am not familiar with this process because we were denied before they started linking applications
Thanks

The following thread might be of assistance to you:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/linking-mycic-account-to-pr-application-t439261.0.html

While myCIC/GCkey offers a little more detail about the status of your case, it is ridiculously out of date. It is useful, however, for uploading documents to CIC ... if you manage to get it linked to your file. It is very difficult to get your paper file linked - you only get 5 attempts a day, it won't tell you what you got wrong, and the people that are supposed to assist you are very slow to respond (2 weeks each time), and will only tell you that you were rejected because something you put in didn't match your file, but they won't tell you what. I think it's mainly for people who submitted their applications electronically.
