Were you in the same building as your husband? Was there a receptionist or someone you could make a request to see a supervisor?

No I had to wait outside at a waiting area. Only the people being interviewed were allowed into the building.

your husband can't accompany you in the interview. He can only accompany you to the embassy. I would investigate this more before doing this. I am not 100% sure about how this is done.

If any other members have experience with this please let us know.

hmmm ....at least if he go to the embassy that could give me more confidence ...I am sure if they talk rude we could do something about it because I believe they should respect us the same as they respect Canadian citizen ...as I said in the earlier posts we will still send them a lots of proofs since we did not send enough (we had more proof at beginning but we did not really think it will be that hard so we add just some of them the one we thought are more important ) ,we will send them a letter tell them how is our relation since we got married and we will try to talk lil bit about our big age difference (because that would be for sure a red flag 28 years difference) also we will let them know that my husbund apply for a kind of visa for a year (because he can not stay more than 3 months within 6 months here, but he wants to stay ) , that should be another good proof for genuine relation , and at the end we will prepare for an interview lol

Hi, i would appreciate if anyone could help me out.. so my husband won the ADR on 8th of March 2016. we got the decision in written form within a week after winning ADR but haven't heard anything after.. Just wondering where are they gonna send request for the medical and police certificate. do they email or mail it to the sponsor address or to the applicant?
and also can i check the status on ecas? if i can…whose client id is needed? is it the sponsor or the applicant UCI?

Alhamdulillah got passport with COPR yesterday.. my case was rejected in sept 2014... i can feel the pain that u all are going through.. my prayers and best wishes for all of u to be reunited with family soon... good luck,,,,

hey Maddants, thank you very much for the input. Yes, i started doing the police check now just as you. On the 9th, Apri, i checked status online again and guess what?!!! mine became into In Process now, and said they sent me correspondence on the 5th, April. I assume, there is a post mail to my husband's Canada address in BC from Ottawa, and hope we will receive it this week. tomorrow im going to re-do my medical. so everything is undergoing now, just waiting for the post mail.

that good my friend....make sure you copy the bio page of your passport and do the updated forms that they will want.... im happy that you heard from ottawa...just keep on praying for a things to move fast so u can get your visa.....

congratulations on getting your visa. finally, you can put all this behind. i am just curious how long since you had your appeal and do they send the passport request by mail or email? out application is supposedly in the final stage of background and security check. we have send all the requested documents in december and i really hope to hear something soon. this waiting is so stressful.

i won appeal in july.. got doc request in November ... they sent all correspondence through email... dont worry u wll get visa soon...

Even i won appeal in july got med req in august, sent medical in September after tht nothing
Did u got passport request email with ur lawyer?
Did u sent them any case specific enquiries?
I am worried 7 months after medical still no update

My case is differ wintersnow. They hav rejected because of misrepresentation and gave me 2 years ban and we appealed and jan we withdraw the appeal cause two years is finished in feb. so v plan to reapply but wen i asked my original documents which i submitted to visa office early. They replied me that they will reconsider my application..... I was surprised and they said i dont need to reapply again ..... They requested to submite police clearance and schedule A form and medical. submited all in feb end ....... And waiting till now but noo replying from visa office.

At one side im happy that they recosidering again but another side im still worring how they are reconsidering it without reaaplying.... I didnt hear anybody said they reconsidering again..... If anyone can help meee plzzz reply me
