Hi Emaan3, I'm also in the same boat as you, my 120 days completed jan18.... I really don't know if this was normal for those that have gone through this stage of the appeal process, but it was emphatically stated that an appeallant will get the blue book within 120 days on their site and on the acknowledgement letter..... Is your appeal in Toronto like mine?

its really frustating.. idont know whats 120 days to them i was badly waiting for it and now after 120 days nothing.....

Hello Everyone, just to give you all an update.. I just check my ecas and it say medical results has been received. That was not there at all for the past couple of days. Im one step closer on getting to the end of this process. God is so good.

I called the Ottawa office they told our file is transferred to Colombo visa office. I don't know if they will ask for medical or police. Mostly, I see people here in this forum have request asked from Ottawa. We haven't received anything after appeal allowed that was in October.

Do you mind to share the Ottawa number you called to find out about your application, I won my appeal since Oct 5th 2015 and still no correspondence from Ottawa or Accra. I sent an email to Accra and they said they are yet to receive my updates from appeal board.

Hey waitingsince2012... My wife visited me 8 time since we got married in 2011.. It really cost a lot of money but it something we just have to do and me and my wife don't regret how much it cost the both of us at all.... I would sure like to hear from Ottawa this coming week or before the holidays but I know they are going to drag there feet into the new year though.. the good thing about this process is that is have to finish one day to come. 2016 will be our yr. for sure

This will definitely be our year. Wish we could take a drink and celebrate when the time comes haha.

I received a reply from Ottawa on January 8th asking for a new application kit, police clearance and medical for my husband. I am hoping that is all they will be asking for before they issue the visa. So I am keeping my fingers crossed lol.

For our case, everything came by post mail in yellow CIC envelope. As soon as we got the ADR decision letter I sent a copy to CPC-ottawa just to make sure they pull our file back to processing (cuz some ppl didnt hear back for 6+ months after winning). And they sent new medical instruction within a month which was very quick.

We were asked to send new medical, updated pcc and application forms, and copy of current passport. I thought next step was ppr but no they just sent the PR visa and instruction to land. I searched here and apparently this is totally normal.

Hope everyone can share good news in the new year!

How long after your new medical, updated application kit and police clearance did you hear back from Ottawa. They just ask us for those stuff which we will be sending in at the beginning of February so I was just wondering how long more before we hear back anything. Thank you.

may I know how much I have to wait after interview done for decision..they took my all documents and returned my passport and passport size photographs....and she said we will review ur file? may I know about that they will email my decision or will send letter to given address??plz reply what they will do??share ur experience please

Hello everyone.... I have a question that i would like to get your opinion about...... Yesterday i got an email from Ottawa just requesting my medical alone. They did not ask for police record or and updated forms at all. From reading on this appeal forum thread i see that mostly everyone got the police record, medical, updated forms and copy of passport. My question is do you think it a good idea to send everything at the same time or i should just send my medical to them and wait for them to contact me again. The reason why im ask this question is that it will save me money to fedex or dhl the package so i wont have to pay the same money 2 times which i could of just paid one money to send off everything. So please let me know what you all think....................Maddants

However, about a week later I received a letter in the mail asking for all the other documents (police clearance, passport copy, updated application kit, etc). When I called my lawyer to see if they received that they said no so I went in and gave them a copy of the letter and now we are just waiting for the police clearance before my husband send it all back for me to send in.

That so good that you heard from ottawa..... we heard from them on Jan.5 when they email me just to send in my medical. My wife got the letter on Jan.11, 2016 request everything from me lol....I send everything on Jan.8,2016 and they receive it on the jan. 11,2016 before my wife got the letter....so we have similar time line for sure...

The lawyer will not get a copy of the letter from ottawa... they mostly send the letter straight to the sponsor address... I made sure i did everything before the requested it so when the request it then i can just send in everything right aways........ For everyone that just win the appeal take the step and look about the police record, bio page of your passport, updated form, and medical before they requested it so you can send it right away when they get the request for them.... This will save you alot of time...

Yea that was a very smart move on your part. Ottawa already received my husband medical while he is still waiting to pick up his police clearance. I wish I had discover this forum earlier at least I would have been one step ahead of them as well lol.

I know, I can almost feel it lol. Both of us and our spouses should be reunited soon. I am hoping once we send all these documents in it shouldn't take more that 2 1/2 months to hear back from them.

I applied for PR under spouse category from within canada on 25th Aug 2015. Got my application received on 13th Jan 2016. I have a graduate open work permit valid till 20th Aug 2016. Could you please tell me
1. when is the right time to apply for open work permit under spousal category?
2. Where can I find the application for open work permit under spousal category?
3. My husband is a PR and we applied for my PR from ALberta. Now we moved to ONtario. FIrst stage of my PR is not yet over. Is it okay to let the CIC know of my address change from ALberta to Ontario?
