Hi Ajarupan, We won our hearing in Calgary on August 20.2015 ....by end of October 2015 I the sponsor received the copy of the request letter for updated documents, police certificate and Medical . Ecas said that they sent correspondence letter to my husband but he NEVER received it. I had forwarded to him through email the copy of letter that I received , so he was able to send all requested documents at requested time frame. December 16.2015 he received passport request and Last Monday January 18. he finally received back his passport with visa for Canada and "Confirmation of permanent residence " COP .Try to call CPC-Ottawa or send them an inquiery email .You should have gotten this already as your appeal won was around same time as ours ?

over 3 years of this nightmare is ending now..... My hubby will be landing in Calgary next Sunday

I just want to say congrats on your husband getting his visa and will be landing shortly in the next few days. Im so happy of you inesjallow. looking at your time line it took them lest than 5 months to process your visa after the appeal which is great... Can you tell me how did the contact your hubby for passport request and was it ottawa or the visa office in your husband country send the request for passport. What visa office was your husband dealing with also....Once again congrats on getting then visa.

I have a question. You said that your appeal was in Calgary. I just started my appeal in Calgary and I would like to know how long it will take the whole process.

Could you please share your time?

After you got the blue book what did you do? Did you requested ADR? When did AID contact you to tell that you got a full hearing? How long did you wait to get news from IAD.

your ecas will not work for awhile....Give it about a month and a half for them to activate it back...so about march it will start to work and look out to hear from them 45-50 working days... Dont count weekend and holiday when you are counting the days........ The main thing is that you wont the appeal. Just counting praying to God and things will work out for you and your spouse.

Hello Everyone, Update on my file. I just got an email from Kingston office requesting updated forms and police record. Which i sent everything to CPC-Ottawa.... So i just email them back to see wat i should do since i already sent those things to Ottawa. So what do you all think. Have this ever happen to anyone on this thread..

I just received email from Srilanka visa office requesting for Police Clearance, Forms to be filled, and other additional information like my Notice of Assessment, Work letter, Bank Statement, and email conversation and photo's. Why these additional information was asked again? You have any idea? Were you asked for additional information too?

Hey there Annie how are you doing... I hope i dont have to send those document again since i already submitted all those thing already to CPC-Ottawa office. I email them the same time i got the request. My wife email them last night also because the cic call center officer was no help at all when my wife called them to see if she can find out what is going on... from how i see it it look like these visa office dont communicate with each other at all unless we as the ppl have to do all the run around to get things sorted out. They say i have to send in everything before Feb.28 2016. So i hope that they reply back to me very soon because these ppl like taking there precious time with things.

Hey ajarupan, How are you doing my friend. Im glad you heard from the visa office. I just was ask to send in police record, medical, updated forms, and bio page of my passport.... Remember every visa office is different and all the visa office work differently so the only thing i can say to you is send everything they ask for as soon as possible my friend.

You are right all cases are different. I was worried.

I have to send all these documents by February 27. Is your the same case? Good luck to you and your wife. Keep updating.

yes my friend i will sure keep everyone updated on my process.... So im going to and see if i can go just redo the police record and sent it to the Kingston embassy before the deadline.

You have to redo your police clearance? I thought you already did in advance and send to Immigration.

Yes my friend i already did my police clearance and send it to ottawa already and now the embassy in my country is asking for it again. So i email both of them to see what i should do...but im saying to myself it better to just go and do it because these ppl take long to get thing straighten out .I dont want any more delay in my application.
