please guide me...how much time appeal takes??

they time frame on appeal are different, according to the location a person file there appeal..... it can take 6 months to 2 years or more

Yes my friend i already did my police clearance and send it to ottawa already and now the embassy in my country is asking for it again. So i email both of them to see what i should do...but im saying to myself it better to just go and do it because these ppl take long to get thing straighten out .I dont want any more delay in my application.

Oh they give us complication life. Crazy Immigraton. Why did you send to Ottawa? Who first asked for Police Clearance?

Hey ajarupan..... Ottawa is the one that ask for the police clearance first and i sent it to them... I just got back a response from the kingston embassy and they say i should just disregard the email i got from Kingston because they say the my application is been process in CPC-Ottawa so i glad i dont have to go and redo it again....What i did was just send a message to the Kingston office and i sent another messages straight to the High Commissioner here in Jamaica and he just wrote me back saying i dont have to do it over again....

Hi Maddants,

I just received email from Srilanka visa office requesting for Police Clearance, Forms to be filled, and other additional information like my Notice of Assessment, Work letter, Bank Statement, and email conversation and photo's. Why these additional information was asked again? You have any idea? Were you asked for additional information too?

It sounds strange that they asked for so much stuff, may i ask in which grounds you were refused at the first place ? Best wishes for you.

Hey Maddants, I see you and your wife have excellent strategy dealing with cic, I am so very glad to hear you got a positive reply from embassy(quite efficient this time, suprise suprise ). You mentioned that you 'sent another message straight to the High Commissioner here in Jamaica', may i ask what is High Commissioner? does it have anything to do with Canada Immigrition, do we have one in China as well. Sorry about that.Which one was refused? the one for PR or vor temporay(visit) visas?did they give a reason?
