Thank you my friend ajarupan..... the only thing i can say for that is it just depend on who is dealing with a person application once it get to Ottawa. wat i would do is email the visa office your application is at and attach a copy of your decision letter to let them know you won your appeal and i was advise that my file have been transfer to your visa office and i would like to know if there is anything i would need to submit and if so can you please let me know in a timely manner... Just make your email sympathetic when you write time.... i hope this help you out...That is what i did when my filed got transfer to Ottawa and they reply back to me with medical request...

Thanks Maddants.

I called the Ottawa office, they told me our file is not in Ottawa anymore. It was transferred to Srilankan visa office. What it means? I don't need Medical or Police Clearance? Mostly everyone was asked from Ottawa.

If your medical and police record is expired fron the last time you did it then you will sure need them..Sri Lanka visa office might just give you the passport request and ask for the medical, police record, and updated for at the same time because i seen that happen to ppl before. your never know with these visa officers. So just keep on praying...

ps. Check your email and your mail from the post offices daily.... you will hear something for them soon.... Has your ecas been activated as yet

I don't know what is going on with my file. Even ecas doesn't open. We usually receive post mail not by email.

Thank you Maddants, will let you know once good news comes.

Hi.. 99.9% sure they won't issue the visa without medical. But u have a lawyer tho.. y don't u ask them to send an email to Colombo v.p. or fax or ask them to contact the embassy. ???

Maddants I think you made the right decision. We have to be proactive as we are the ones who are waiting forever.

What is the contact information for CPC Ottawa I. E. Telephone, fax and or email?

On average it seems like won appeal files reach Ottawa about 2 months after decision letter is dated do you find that to be About right? I am just thinking of when would be best to m3ake contact with Ottawa. Our case was won In mid December. Thanks for any response

Yes i think i did the right thing also. I did alot of reading on this appeal forum from the day my wife put in our appeal letter until now. I just made sure that i research more than a few ppl that won there appeal and i just made my assumption on my own judgement and right now it paid off for me and the work of God... I pray all the time asking God to get me to Canada to be with my wife and family there. God is so good
