thanks for the support and reply, i double checked the document they sent me, they only ask for a copy of the renewed passport, and not the passport itself. i did send well within the 30 day limit. even got a automail response that they received. im shocked about the rejection response i got, (that they did not receive it).

i have sent email explaining, but no response, i am just worried that again this email will not reach them.

if there anyway i can contact the mississauga office directly? not through the call center? or what would be the best course of action in such situations>?
send them ur email , auto confirmation, new pp copies rejection letter to program manager by email and one hard copy by couriour asap. Also add ur request to consider it on human and compassionate bases.

I have the exact timeline as you, I filed appeal in January 2015 and received blue book in April 2015.
Right now the stage is waiting for a date for ADR, if your case can be resolved quickly without full hearing you will surely get ADR.
After the ADR they will tell you if you were successful or not the same day or they might give you their decision by mail.

If successful your file will go back to the visa office for reprocessing...the time here varies depending on your visa office.

Did they contact you with a date for ADR or are you still waiting?

Hi,

My Husband had an interview June 3 and we were informed by letter on June 22 that my hubby's Visa has been refused.
Can anyone please assist or direct me where to obtain forms and where to send. The below information is what I found is this correct.

We have a almost 3 year old daughter together. And my daughter and I are both born in Canada.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Along with the refusal letter they suppose to send a form for you to fill out to appeal the decision, did you receive that?
The address that you mentioned is correct. Fill the appeal form and send it to that address before your 30 days are up.

hello all,i have a little question please some one clarify, for how long i have to wait after receiving the confirmation email that they received my appeal application

Dawud, I have a question for you, how long did you wait for confirmation email? I filed June 15! As for you I believe IAD sends a request to the VO you went thru to send you a copy of file and send IAD a copy. They can take 4 months or more just for that.

Thank you Mrs S fr your response no unfortunatly they did not send a form with refusal letter. Okay will submit asap now my other question is it important to have a lawyer. Our's was based on not being a genuine marriage when all our notes states that this is a genuine marriage. Only at interview time they changed their mind. We also have an almost 3 year old daughter.

ASyed :(

maryl, thanks for the replay i field the appeal on 9 june and i received the confirmation 24 June .you can expect yours on first week of july

i am waiting for adr date.. as i told u earlier that provided wriitten submissions to IAD.wanna sak u do they send a notice tht u r selected for adr or something like that?

Thank you dawud!

marl, you welcome, which office did you applied i have been told vancouver is much faster then the other two offices

I am in saskatchewan so vancouver is the only option for us.

Our lawyer also told me that IAD sends a member from Vancouver 2 or 3 times in one year to hear cases in my city. I don't know if it's just my city or extends further. Also, this could be good or bad as in wait times. But I think this is better as I don't have to travel and can have family and friends support as witnesses.

They suppose to send only a refusal letter to your husband and also a copy of that to you along with an appeal form.
I saw on this thread that some people didn't use a lawyer and were still successful at their hearing....I personally chose a lawyer, it puts my mind at ease because I know if I don't understand something or don't exactly know what the next step is, there is someone to guide me though all this.

Our refusal was based on marriage not genuine too. This process can be really stressful at times, just have to have faith and take it one day at a time. Be prepared for a long wait though.
