Hi everyone, I hope someone can help. So today my husband and I application got denied due to the fact that they don't believe the marriage is for only to gain admission to canada. He was previously removed from canada before we married. It was not a deportation or exclusion order. What's next? What are the chances of winning appeal? He just got the email today and the appeal links they sent him were in French. I do believe it's a application to appeal and the how to appeal guide. He asked them to send them in English because we have no idea what they say. Any advice or knowledge on this is appreciated greatly. Thank you

you can appeal till you get the refusal letter in English, to save your time and this is the link for appeal guide in English

Thank you gango. I also read somewhere that if a appeal is denyed then you can never again try to sponsor your spouse, does anyone know if this is true ? Thank you

does anyone know the waiting time after PPR has been submitted?

Is this really true?
If ECAS shows Decision Made, does that basically mean approval?
Has anyone got a rejection at this stage, and if so how were you notified of the rejection (email or letter) and how long did it take to come through?
A decision was made on my case on Feb 9, and I still haven't been notified what it is yet... My MP got an email on Feb 13 saying 'a letter explaining the decision would be sent to me in due course' ...does this mean its likely to be a rejection letter rather than a COPR or PPR?
Please help by sharing your experience of how you were notified of your rejection, and if it was after ECAS changed to DM...
Thanks

Not necessarily. I don't know your situation but under the circumstances after winning an appeal and it says decision made its most likely to be positive.
