Hello Friends,

I need your guidance to understand the appeal process & timeline. We filed appeal in Aug and received blue book in Nov 2014. Do you have any idea how long this would take and is there a way the status can be checked somewhere?

You can contact appeal division, they will provide you the phone number of the case worker. They can tell you the status. As to any letter sent out for hearing date n stuff.

Pls what's ADR, IAD and blue book.

IAD is the place where your appeal is handled
ADR is a hearing which takes about 1 hour to solve your case within short time period (if there is only 1-2 issues in your refusal)
blue book is which holds all (most) of your documents which you have already sent to cic until you were refused
8) 8)

We had our appeal last April. My husband redid his medical and police clearance last summer, and
last week he finally got his PPR, he mailed it off and today it just arrived in the mail. My husband is finally coming to Canada :D

Hi there just wondering what are some of the questions they ask in the court room my husband was rejected due to relationship not being genuine I just want to be prepared and can I fight this case without a lawyer

Hey same happened to me I just received my bluebook

Hey guys here is my timeline all your thoughts are welcomed

refused end of Oct 2014
filed appeal Nov 19/2014
received bluebook mid Jan 2015

is this a normal timeline for these things to happen the only thing the bluebook said was they received a tip stating my husband married me to gain entry to Canada and they refused him on those grounds as it was his childs mother being a jealous and malicious b**** They interviewed my husband and only quizzed him on her and said they were not satisfied so he doesn't match the criteria of a member of the family class ! A bunch of crap im so devastated over this any help or thoughts would be great ALSO does anyone know if a paralegal would be ok to represent me ?

i need some advice

my husband has an interview next month. since there are many dates to remember and he is super nervous. He 100% knows all the wedding dates but proposal date and other dates he sometimes forgets. Especially when he is nervous! He may be fine... but he is super super nervous.

If he messes one date up. is it an automatic rejection? If he doesnt remember something can he honestly say he doesnt remember? or is that not a sufficient answer for them?

anyone had this problem?
