shop around. The fees vary. I paid $3000.00 for full hearing. Yes, we won.

Bes wishes

That is really good price. My lawyer is charging me $4500 for ADR. And my original ADR date was 2nd February he changed it to march 23rd without even my knowledge. The reason was he wouldn't make it to ADR on 2nd Feb. :(

I should have stated, I hired them in 2010 for appeal.....immigration consultants.

That makes more sense. I didn't know immigration consultants could represent you for a full appeal. I thought it had to be a lawyer.

It's been 2 months since I won Adr and my file hasn't transferred to the visa office yet . Anyone experience the same situation or know what I can do. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

you can use either or you can do it yourself (which I don't recommend)

We won our appeal in August 2012
File was lost and made its way back to original office Jan 2013
We heard from them beginning of April 2013
partner landed April 2014

If you don't hear from them in a few months, have your Canadian go to MP office. Some of them are very good.

MP= member of Parliament.

so stressful but hang in, you will hear from them soon. :D

Thanks for the reply gsize. Yeah I guess I will let a month go and then go to the MP's office. Thanks

Hi if anybody is looking for a lawyer in Vancouver. i found one with good reputation and success rate. his name is Chrisopher Elgin and the fees are very good. If anybody wants more info just private message me. We are just waiting for the blue book from Paris..should be end of this month or sometimes in February. All this is very nerve wrecking, i started feeling much anxiety and my poor husband started loosing hair. Best of luck to everyone who is still going through this appeal process.

Call the IAD (Immigration Appeal Division). Tell them you haven't received any letter. It should have been sent by now.

Maybe you will just get a date for the full hearing? Someone can please clarify if you receive a letter after failed ADR like you do after failed interview.
