Thanks. I can still hardly believe that it's finally over after all these years! My husband called me this a.m. in Skype and showed me his passport with the visa in it and his COPR. We feel like we've been set 'free' at last - no longer at the mercy of immigration. ;D What a great feeling and I really hope for all you to experience this feeling too in the very near future! So once my Copy of my records came. I wrote a view pages about some of the concerns they had from our interview. Nothing a lot just a summary. I included some more evidence such as telephone bills. I had gone to India to visit my husband a few months a go so included the passport the tickets. A week after they recieved my record they send me letter that its going to early resolution officer then about a week later I got the adr date. Then I just prepared all the papers evidence and all the messages and Skype chats. Hopefully yours will be quick. Good luck

Hi :-* Thankyou so very much hannah 21 This helps me alot. I received my copy of the record yesterday, 186 pages in all. It was late by 5 days probably because of the stat Canada Day long weekend.I am recovering at home from surgery July 04th a week today. I hope to return to work on the 23rd or the 24th of July and I hoep I can get everything copied for CIC and the IAD. I guess I will need a copy and also my lawyer needs a copy. Did you have a lawyer? Do I need a lawyer if I get an ADR? I hope I get an ADR. Did they contact your hubby during your ADR with a conference call at answer questions? I have telephone bills, cell phone bills, my recent plane ticket to visit hubby. How soon after you received your copy of the record that you received your letter saying it is going to an ADR? Was the ADR date fairly quick after you received your copy of your record? Sorry for all of the questions, just stressing. I have had headaches everyday Thankyou for your good luck wishes XO I hope your hubby will be here soon XO

Hi everyone Question.. Do i have to have my text messages copied into English to submit for my appeal? I could not get my text messages off my cell phone for the sponsorship app and I still am having trouble trying to retrieve them . There are so many I just sent cell phone bills with the sponsorship app and higlited how many international text messages there were. I called rogers and they said I cannot get my text messages as it is a privacy thing but I also heard you can get them? Help? I have tried many ways. I was able to get some not all to my PC but could not open them as they were DB files. Another time I got some not all again to my PC can't remember how lol but I could print some and they were all in a thread and could not select which ones I want to print Ughhhhhh ???

All proof has to be in English or French. As far as retrieving your text messages, I had the same problem so I emailed them to myself, copied them and pasted them to a word doc. and then I printed them off. I went thru all my texts first, (cuz I had 1,000's of them) and selected the ones that I thought were the most meaningful and used these. My lawyer said this was okay as long as I didn't change anything. If your texts are in another language, you could do what I suggested, then have them translated and attach the translated copy to the original. Anyways, I know of no other way to retrieve text messages off of a cell. phone. Good luck Rainbow.

I tried this and they showed as data based files which I could not open I have over 5,000 this would take soooo long to do even if I could do this the translations then would have to be notarized and the notary has to be a recognized notary right? Hopefully not I will try again Ughhhhhh Again thankyou XO

for our case notice to appeal to receiving and ADR letter was 5 months and ADR date to winning appeal was 2 weeks. After we got winning letter within 3 weeks we got letter to submit few forms again, re do medical and PCC and pay RPRF.

Hi, I am married to a canadian and he's sponsoring us under spousal visa. We submitted our documents already together with r medical end of January of this year. He was approved as sponsor 1stwk of March. Since I have an annulment case, I was requested to take psychological test/interview. I complied everything already and was told by the clinic that they sent it back to the embassy May28. How long would it take for me to wait before they request for our passport. I am from the Phils and will be bringing my 13yr old daughter with me. Thanks..
