sorry but what is a ADR ?? im waiting for our refusel letter and wants to appeal too in Vancouver..i dont know how to get CAIPS either..

ADR is an early resolution. you dont need to go for a full hearing. if you have 1 or 2 issues you may get an ADT, if your case id complecated you will get a full hearing. but every case different from each other.
you can order your caips (ATIP\GCMS) notes online (if you are the sponsor). only from canada you can order it. but i ordered it from my country , hot in canada, but i used my husband's credit card details to order it. no need to fill the forms. you need to pay only $5 to order this online (if you have a credit card)
and you can get it via email (electric notes)
dint worry get ready by collecting the evidences & try to show your relationship is strong

This is wht happened in our case (Spousal Sponsor) one month after we received notes we received the letter mentioning the ADR hearing date. They rejected our application mentioning tht our marriage is not genuine. They asked to submit documents of proof and all,before 10 days of hearing date. We need to send it to two places one to ADR and one to IAD. We have submitted all the docs and pics mentioning our relation in detail. So we are just waiting for the D-day.

Hope you will also hear soon from them for you ADR.

We send the appeal letter in december. We received the notes in March. In April 2nd week we got the letter abt hearing date.

You can call the IAD office and just inquire. It wont harm anything. That we tell you whats the status.

I guess they are speeding up the process for this rejected cases now a days.

Hope we all get decision in our favour and get visa asap.

if they have given you a date then you may have to go for it but if they have asked you to send the documents only, den you dont need to go for it. but how ever it wont be a full hearing, if they have mentioned as early resolution
but dont think its like an interview its more than an interview but may only for 1 or 2 hours
but dont worry i dint tell you these to make you scared and not all the case are same every one is different from each other
so do what ever according to your situation
or you must tell the correct clear thing here that why you were refused then here are lots of people like you who refused for the same reason what you were refused
so then they can give you advices

Thanks Gango Girl.. But I want to ask one thing, as they are mentioning that the early resolution officer will decide as to whether or not we can appeal also...So Am doubtful if its an ADR??? Does they use this language only while ADR??

Our is a peculiar case which was rejected saying our marriage was not legal... it was coz they did not see the additional docs we sent which were asked after interview!!!

Im still waiting for ADR or full hearing...

My lawyer sent letter asking for ADR...What types of things can you fax along with that request? Things like affidevit, phone bills?..what types of things have you guys sent to show ongoing relationship when requesting ADR??
