I heard of some ppl being asked to submit in the letter of acknowlegment from IAD. Did you get asked or you just asking? Mp can inquire. And will get back to you. Mine usually rook about a day.after sending blue book do they usually ask the applicant to send your documents to court IAD i mean is it normal process ?
You shouldn't have a problem applying for that, I'm obviously not qualified to give you legal advice but I'd say you shouldn't stay anywhere illegally, you also have to update CIC on any changes made to your status in any country, so if you do get refugee status in India, you should probably let CIC know, they tend to have a problem with people not telling them everything. Can you not contact your lawyer for help with that?No i am talking about india because as an afghan i cant stay here for more than 30 days in tourist visa so i am here ilegaly but if i apply in UN it will give me refugee card
At some point they contact you for document submission, but that's usually after they schedule your hearing or ADR, was your lawyer asking for the documents? Maybe he's just gathering everything and preparing beforehand to make sure you guys have everything before it needs to get sent off.after sending blue book do they usually ask the applicant to send your documents to court IAD i mean is it normal process ?
It will not get updated that fast. They could ask you for updated medical, if it's expired. Updated pcc. Updated forms. They do that for ppl who win appeals.Could you please tell me after how long does ecas gets updated after winning an ADR. Its been 20 days since official letter has been received after winning ADR but ecas still shows DM. Thank you!
Thank you MaryL! It just does not make sense that they would first ask for updated forms, etc. but still not update the system to show that the file is back in process. Oh well, waited so far... Eventually the waiting ends! Good luck to all!It will not get updated that fast. They could ask you for updated medical, if it's expired. Updated pcc. Updated forms. You'll know when the file gets to Ottawa when they e-mail you asking for updated forms, which may or may not take a while, I waited a little over a month to receive anything from them, some people get a request faster. I couldn't even look up my application on ecas until a couple of weeks after they sent me a form request! You could use the web form http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp to inquire but they take so long to reply you'll probably not need them to answer anymore by the time they reply .So, basically I will not know when the file gets to Ottawa until they update ecas, correct? Or is there another way to find out?
If there's anything you can't provide within the allotted time you should always let them know that you'll need extra time, especially with medical and pcc, since you have sent the other forms it won't be such a big deal but I'd definitely let them know you haven't gotten the chance to get the pcc yet.Does anyone experience when they request you the original police certificate and never submitte on the due date? But submitted the rest of the form?
