hi MadeInCanada
its soo good
then they will reduce the strictions of entering Canada ryt? I was thinking of it bcoz it should be done as there are lot of fake couples entering Canada & then be separated after its done. bcoz of this reason its very hard for the genuine couple to be united lovingly in Canada & wasting there precious life time by waiting for the PR. it is very good & i like it.
but for the event of a death, it would be thoroughly investigated to assure the cause of death, thats true
thnx anyways
I would hope that it would decrease the time spent evaluating the relationship, thus making the processing times shorter. It is possible they would be less strict. I personally believe that it will really only distract those intending on fraud from applying, be it the applicant and or both sponsor and applicant. It is yet to be determined how and IF they will actually follow through. I guess 2 years from Oct 25th 2012 we will see. There is still a catch to that though, for those that think they can just hang on and wait out the 2 years. If they leave the sponsor in a close time range it will seem as though they did exactly that, and I assume they would then be given the boot..hopefully.

I think there should be some sort of charges put in place as well. Such as putting those found guilty into a work placement of sorts. Let them work so many hours, any money they would be paid would go towards the immigration funding(which will enable the hiring of more VOs), then ship there lying cheating butts back to where ever they came from. But that is just my evil thought for the day.

if they be separated before the time, should not only PR is cancelled, they should be deported. then it'll be easy for the genuine couples to enter to Canada easily. We are suffering like this bcoz of the fake couples bull*censored word*s.
anyway thnx for the reply
yes its good. they are being more stricter.
If they get more stricter, I dont mind .. its just they should reduce the timeline and start differentiating between the fake and genuine couples.

like something happened.(i read in the newspaper) that CIC went in the house to see whether they are a genuine couple or not and then they got to know the truth. I dont mind if they come in and do inspection.. (as we are a genuine couple) those who are fake should be scared. why us

Hi MadeInCanada & simb
I cant send replies separately for both of yours posts as there's some error has occurred. so, this for both of you.
Its very true what both of you have told. we are as genuine couples are suffering for nothing, but coz of fake idiots.
like simb has told, I have heard that in Germany, they go to the houses for three years to check whether they are together as the husband & the wife. and also they are asking from the both of the couple that, whether they need to stay together still or not. then only they issue the citizenship.
thats very good.

Hi gango girl

oh really ? even in Germany.. thats very good
I am sure if this starts in Canada too then the marriage fraud rates will be much much lesser (equal to zero) than what now it is

Your husband needs a 'Certificate of Divorce' (Form F56) to remarry, which is issued 31 days after his divorce became final.

& also can anybody give the link of the page in this forum for sponsoring Parents & Grand Parents plzzzzzzzzz

Thanks for the congrats. As is it says in my signature, I was refused in July '10. I was scheduled for an ADR in Mar.'11, but it was cancelled 10 days before. Then I waited until May '12 for my first scheduled appeal date, which was also cancelled. They told me one day before, that the MC was sick, so therefore, they had to schedule another date. It was again scheduled for July 25th, 2012, and this time it went ahead, but it didn't finished. I got another date for Oct. 25/12 to finish and I was already in T.O. by the time I got the call from my lawyer, that the MC had some kind of 'emergency', and so they had to cancel yet again! Finally, I got my last date for February 21st of this year, and they told me after the hearing, that I had won. All in all, I had to wait 31 months from the time of refusal, to my last appeal date thru the Toronto IAD. Yes, I hired a lawyer. Wish I had of hired a lawyer from the very beginning to help us with the preparation of the initial application and help us with the interview, and maybe we wouldn't have been refused, but who knows. Anyways, my case was complicated, and I didn't feel confident about going to full appeal alone. He gave me some very good advice and helped me gather good proof needed for the appeal. (I believed before hiring him, that 'quantity' was more important than 'quality' proof, but he set me straight) Our marriage is, of course, genuine, but they (MC) can turn anything positive, into a negative, just to make you look guilty. You need to be honest in the appeal, speak from the heart and you have to know your case very well to win.

I know a couple of people with big age differences, who won their full appeals without a lawyer, but I also know 2 other women who didn't hire a lawyer, who married younger men, and they both lost their appeals. I sincerely believe that if you have an age difference and/or any other incompatibilities, you should hire a good immigration lawyer.

My advice is to keep busy and try and get to see your spouse as often as possible. (I went 7 times to see my husband) It gets expensive, but to me, love is more important than money.

Good luck!
