Hi,

I have a very similar situation. I am the sponsor and I am older than my wife. We married quickly. We were refused because the VO believed our relationship was not genuine.

We submitted our application in Feb 14 and by Jun 14 I could already see the VO was going to refuse us (in his notes).

One thing we did wrong was to not send enough evidence. The package I initially sent was about 100 pages of evidence. By the time we had the appeal we had over 1500 pages of chats and photos etc. I recommend you send as much evidence as possible. But, keep it useful. Don't send 25 pictures of the same thing. Also organize the information in a way that proves your case. My appeal lawyer said she could have helped me build a stronger case before we were refused. I don;t know how to send additional evidence while the case is in progress. Someone else on the forum may know.

I also recommend you submit a request for information from the Visa Office now (search "cic request for information" in google). It will only cost about $5 and you will receive it within a month. In this request, it will send all the notes they have on your case. It's the same thing as the blue book that is sent out when you appeal except it is only up to the current date.

When you read this document you will get a very good understanding of whether anyone has looked at your case, whether you are scheduled to get an interview, etc.. Like I said, when I got this document I knew the VO was going to refuse us.

I can not thank you enough for your answer ...mmm unfortunately we did the same mistake we didn't send enough of evidence but now we have alot more ,since we sent the application he already come visit me 2 months and he will come for another month or so soon ....that's why we 're thinking to not wait for them to refuse us . I really hope we will solve that problem somehow ,we have plenty of evidence now but I am not sure how is the best way to send them , after we will send them we will wait few weeks and then will order notes...how big is your difference of age , sorry if I am too curious .

Try sending it with a letter and your uci number to your vo. You have nothing to lose.

I guess you can send it to the Visa Office you are dealing with and make sure to quote your UCI number as well. Best way would be to Fedex or DHL it so you can track it. The VO address should be on your correspondence from CIC.

We brought additional evidence to the interview. The VO didn't even look at it. Somehow, you have to make sure the VO looks at the new evidence. I don't know how to enforce this

our difference is even bigger , very similar case , we met online ,he came visit me once after about 6 month ,he stayed one week and did not meet my family yet but we were in some small trips, he kind of proposed me online and visit me again after 2-3 months , he met my family and we got married, no honeymoon

There is usually 2 UCI numbers, one for the sponsor and one for the applicant. If you are sending documents to the VO then you will need to put your UCI number on the documents.

You were saying in your other posts that you received correspondence from the VO. You should have a UCI then.
