now still waiting for the desicion.
do any one knows how long will it take.

in letter it was written that they will reply in writting or oral

i won the appeal on oct 23rd.
it was dealt in written.
now my file is transferred to abu dhabi and the ecas shows in process again.
now dont know how long it will take.

I AM SO SO UPSET... SO MAD.... SO UPSET. Cannot believe it. I received an answer to my Case Specific Inquiry. The visa office wrote me. They said they received his medicals. They also said they sent email to my husband on September 20 and he has 60 days to comply, that is to send all the requested forms and documents. If not, received after 60 days they close the file. MY HUSBAND TOLD ME HE HAS NEVER RECEIVED THE SAID EMAIL. You know what? There was an extra G in his email address, therefore the email address was wrong! We lost SIX WEEKS! SIX PRECIOUS WEEKS! He could have been here for our 2nd wedding anniversary on December 24. I feel like kicking! screaming! I AM SURE THEY DID IT ON PURPOSE! THEY WILL HARASS US TO THE END. He will do a special trip to deliver in person the required documents. THANKS GOD MY IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT SAW MY FACEBOOK POST AND RECOMMENDED ME TO WRITE TO THEM! WE CAME CLOSE TO LOSE IT ALL !!!!!!!!

This is exactly what I have been having in mind for quite a while. Once my husband is holding his visa and he is crossing the threshold of my house lol I will write to the program manager, to my MP, to the minister of Immigration and perhaps the media. I don't accept to sit quietly on the couch with my husband. Something needs to be done, something needs to be said. After me, there will be others and there were others before me (these people sent me personal messages about their bad experiences with Rabat). In all the cases I have read for Rabat, I think we are one of the worst so far...

We are planning to go with the process of appeal. We would like to know how long will it take for them to reply back to our form and give us the hearing dates. Also how long will this hearing process will take.

My wife is from canada. And she iss planning to appeal.
Our marraige was rejected as they think is not genuine. Thts wht is mention in the rejection letter received by both.

Both of us are not divorce before and no criminal history.

So Can u please let us know if we appeal, what is approx time where we can hear something from them..

After how many days we get the appeal date or something..
Please guide us if you have any valuable info..

hey sagar5187 sry to hear you got rejected....it all depends which city ur wife is from...and also if the IAD will choose ur case for an ADR hearing which it will take any where from 6 to 8 months if u are in toronto..for a full apeal hearing in toronto as IAD had advised me the it will take 14 to 18 months to get a date for the appeal hearing from the date they recieve the blue file from the embassy...so for an example..iam in toronto and i appealed on dec 16,2011 and the IAD got the file from the embassy march 15 2012.. from march they told me i had to wait 14 to 18 months for a hearing date.. but i dont know which city your wife is from cause i know in other cities is much faster then toronto...good luck keep us posted...hope this helps...

if we apply say by 10th Nov, then by March'13 IAD will receive file and if IAD approves for ADR then from 6 month from then i.e sep-oct 13 we might have ADR hearing,.. else it will go to ful hearing in say approx july 2014; am i right...

it takes 120days to recieve the file from the embassy ..so yea end of feb or march of 2013 u will recieve the file...
yes maybe if you r lucky and if ur case is not complicated and if they choose it for ADR then around sept to nov 2013 u can except a ADR ...if it is a full hearing your looking it around end of 2014...but u never know
few people got a date earlier then their waiting time...after winning the appeal it takes another 6 to 8 months for the visa...good luck

just to let you guys know, the waiting time for a hearing was NOT 12-18 months for me. It was 25 months !!
