my adr went smooth so lawyer didnt play any role in it, BUT if not my lawyer i was gonna get full hearing. Also officer was very glad to see that my husband helping me financilly (i provided western union transfers from husband). blue book should has all red flags that officer had during the interview. In my blue book there were lots of stuff that my husb never sad, and it was totally redicilous. Btw you did a right thing to live with your husb,it will definitely help you.

Thanks. That makes me feel much better. I think I'll send in a letter requesting they consider our case for ADR and attach some proofs that I've been with him since the refusal. Act like my own lawyer! I guess that's all I can do and wait.

I'm in Quebec. The Quebec Selection Certificate of my wife has expired a few months ago and I need to renew it. How? Should I fill out all the forms again? And do I have to wait for Immigration Canada or the Immigration Appeal Division to send me an official letter saying that I won before I can proceed the renewal of the Québec Selection Certificate?

You've been told this before, post in the International Students section. Your case is not a spouse sponsorship case, and it's certainly not an appeal. Good luck.

Hi guys, just wanted to thank everyone in here for their help. Because of the new dependent law (age changing from 22 to 19), we ran into trouble as my hubbys son will probably age out before our appeal is done and hubby is settled. We made a bad mistake as listing my step son as non accompanying on the first app as he is 17 and wanted him to finish school first. We had no idea of course we would go through all this rejection and trouble. So we have made the difficult decision to start fresh , reapply and cancel the appeal, this time putting my step son on the app. Ironically , we had received the blue book from Accra, and guess what, it was a mess! It had my old sponser forms from my previous sponsership in 2007, and didnt have my forms,, my work proof etc, from this sponsership. Also in the gcms notes, guess what, the columns and title page are in french! grrr talk about a series of problems , anyways all the best, wish me luck, cant believe we have do go through this again!
