Better you should go persnally and perform the ceremony and take good amount of evidence of it and update in your CEC file.

Try to update you CEC file as soon as you get married ... regardless if they will consider or not ... lieing is big offese in canada.... I means if we will not inform them means it lie in their eye.

First of all your interview date is near so, i believe your file is all ready accepted and apporved for processing and now you don't have to show the income.

second: as you are residing outside of canada so, you have provide strong proof that you will be returning to canada once your spouse gets the visa ... get the support letter from family and friend as much as possible.. that can help you ...

next on going communication details is very important ... provide such info with it .. in interview all things are verbal .. they will not consider any document at that time ... in my spouse interview .. my spouse was trying to show some evidence ... they not even think to entertain ...

one more advise ... as they have asked for interview then there must be something wrong ... act with caution ... better to consult lawyer .. and they can study you case much better and advise you ..

For me it was pretty fast. I received refusal letter on March 3rd, 2013. Just 20 days after interview.

Woah that is fast..I'm still trying to figure out HOW they can make a decision so fast after an interview especially a denial..I'm sorry to hear about your case..keep the faith and good luck...may you be successful in the appeal process

I have something very interesting and annoying to share. I recently came across a female who recently got Canadian visa. SHE did contract marriage to a Canadian guy and guess what, she got visa without any hastle. What shit is happening around. People like us are going through hardship of life and fake are getting visas.... Oh Jesus where is the justice?? Totally upset

Guguz after reading your post..i feel upset also....This is Injustice to genuine people like us..and the Mother Fucker VO sitting in Embassy think thy are very smart to detect fraud now i want to ask them where is there smartness now. My expectations are low from this crappy immigration system. Genuine are suffering and players are through..........Fuck Them.

Wow! This is so unjust for the genuine people like myself being in a relationship for almost 10 years and still never got the visa :'( This upsets me to no end :'(

Hello Everyone I have not posted for awhile, but hav e been reading and learning alot. I feel so blessed for this site. I had breast cancer twice and a survivor thankfully and gratefully. I am still undergoing reconstructive surgeries. The last 4 being fat transfers from my stomach to around the breast implants. I have had many surgeries. I was recently very sick with a bacterial infection in which the doctor thought it was an infection from around the implants. This is possible. I had blood alot of work done because of my history of breast cancer. My white blood cells were elevated menaing an infection. I was put on antibiotics. The doctor wanted for me to get ultrasounds done on my abdomen and around the breast implants and can't get in right away and only can do this with 2 separate appts. While getting my blood work done the lady drawing my blood said for me to go to the hospital and perhaps I could get the ultrasounds done there at the same time.I went and they admitted me into hospital for 5 1/2 hours. Hooked me up to an IV gave me 2 bags of fluids, 2 bags of anitbiotics, gave me a CTscan in which they found 10 lympth nodes enlarged in the left pelvic region and 2 more on the right and this is all they told me. They said I may have diverticulosus or lympthoma. I go back to the doctor teh next day and she orders more blood work again as the hospital did the same blood work as her and never did any blood work for tumor markers tests looking for cancer to rule out lympthoma. Those tests came back normal and all within range. The cancer doctor wants to see me and oredered another tumor marker test. I have not received the results back from this. They added this test to teh blood already given for the other tumor marker tests so I did not have to get poked again. They freeze your blood for up to a week apparently and added this test to this blood. The white blood cells are back to normal and my hemoglobin is a bit low and that is all.I went to the lawyers office yesterday morning with paperwork I had to prepare to bring to him for our appeal. There was also a translator there and we called hubby for a question answer period. hubby did pretty good.The lawyer knows about the bacterial infection and as well as hubby. I did not want to say anything to hubby until after his time with the translator so he could focus on the questions asked and the lawyer explaining the appeal process to hubby. Anyways I will see the cancer doctor on the 16th of Sept my ultrasound imaging for the abdomen, breast implants and most likely the pelvic region now will get done together on the 9th of Sept and go from there. I wish hubby were here with me and this gets resolved in not too long of a wait from now. I think the Vanc appeals is about 4 months behind now as I received the blue book or copy of the file July 10th 2013 and I gave notice to appeal February 05th.I received the IAD acknowledgment letter of my notice to appeal dated February 28th 2013. I hoep to receive news from the IAD soon with a date to appear for an ADR or full hearing. I most likely will need a biopsy done on the 10.5 cm mass. I hope all will be well. At least I can focus on the appeal rather than the medical stuff going on. Wishing and praying everyone here for a successful appeal.XO

-What are your religions?
-Do you have common interests?
-How long have you dated before proposal and marriage?
-Did any of your familiy members or his not show up for the wedding?
-Was your wedding a small simple ceremony?

They said marriage not genuine.
My spouse is 5 years elder to me. We r from same religion. We have not much common interests but have perfect chemistry. We dated for almost 1.5 yr before getting married. All family members and relatives were present for the ceremony. Wedding was not simple. It was big Indian (Punjabi) wedding celebrating all the rituals and ceremonies.

Now I fail to understand why did they refuse my visa
