I have applied to SINP skeeled worker, sent application May 23, asked about additional docs, sent them 28 november, still i do not have any new.

Hope one day soon we will laugh about this days of 2011 and talk about how good (-30C but I AM HERE!!) will be.
Nothing on my side too.

You are right buddy. -30 is gonna be real bad.

But we need it before fall, 2012 starts so that we can go early. It will be easy to start in beginning in summer or fall rather than winter.

No updates from my side either.

Let's hope we get nomination in December, 2011.

It takes around 6-9 months. but it also depends on CIC center of each country..

Current list of SINP applications since 1st jan 2011

Step 1 = Step one is the first part of your application procedure where you send application to Provincial Government. Their are various
processing steps involved in Provincial part of application. Successful applicants, after approval, receive Letter of Acceptance
(i.e nomination Letter)

Step 2 = After Step one approval, you file your application to respective Visa Office that serves your country of nationality. Visa Office
processing also include various procedural steps including security, criminality and medical checks. After successfully
completing all the steps you are issued visa to land safely to Canada.

They ask for additional documents only if there is need to complete the case file as explained by Powerbyj. According to their email information it takes 8-10 months for family stream... so please wait destination is close now

Now that we have to send the package first to Nova Scotia than they will send to visa office ,I think will be more time after PNP approval, in my country went from 14 to 17 months .

Get nomination letter will wait for last year.

I didn't get my nomination yet. But still I will tell my company about this Since I stayed out all day because of marketing job.
I want to know about something.
My boss doesn't speak English and company is located in residential area, it's in house. and company is small, not that big.

I am a marketing manager. So, I mostly go out for marketing in one city to other city.

What should one do in this case? How will they approach it?

My Experience is perfectly genuine. I had past experience in MNCs. But I selected this company due to better opportunity in salary and position wise.

Is that fine if they come for checking and I am not available there?

I don't want to tell my current company about my application to Canada. What's the option?

If the CIO determines that your application is complete, it will be sent to the appropriate CIC processing office for processing. The processing office will contact you for further documentation once they are ready to process your application.

Note: Applications that were sent prior to December 1, 2011 and that are received on or after this date at the visa office will be processed by the office as long they are complete.

CIC issue VISA as quickly as possible？
