Then it is the wrong time to apply. You should wait till he gets his PGWP AND a NOC 0, A or B job. These are the primary requirements.

Processing time is the same as it takes for any wp from Pakistan - 4 months on average but depends heavily upon many factors including how good a case you are putting, what time of year you are applying etc.

Validity of SOWP is the same as that of the principal applicant.

If your spouse is about to complete his student status and will get PGWP soon, it is the wrong time to apply for any kind of visa. Be very clear about this. Your application will either be refused quickly (Best case) saying there is not enough time left in his current visa or (worst case) hung on until long AFTER expiry of his visa and then refused.

We're not applying right now infact when he'll get his PGWP in june or after getting a job then i'll appply

I have applied online at Abu dhabi. Since applying two months back, I have recieved two emails to check my mycic account but when i do, there r no updates...is this normal? I have emailed Abu dhabi visa office but haven't recieved a reply from them either

what did u apply? two months are long, i think u should drop them an email and ask them. it has been two since u applied thats really worries me. i applied 10 of june from pakistan and this tuesday i submitted my finger prints at VAC islamabad.

My husband is also waiting fir his PR application in Pakistan.
We are also planning to file TRV.
In your case what u think is the most important thing that helped u getting visa.

So that means when applying for trv in pakistan you do it in two steps ????
1) file application
2) after few days do bio matrics

Bio metrics requirement was only introduced in december last year. So that is pretty recent and has changed cost and processing time to some extent. It is probably only required in some countries, Pakistan is one.
