Why is mine taking so long? everyone else applied after me and now they all seams to be getting medical req.

Yes for old applicants visa processing is far more slower as compared to 2012 applicants who applied to CIO, Nova Scotia directly. CHC, London is trying hard to decrease this duration like 2013 applicants are getting MR directly within 1-2 months after AOR.

Also it depends on province too like many Alberta applicants had quick processing unlike other PNPs.

Don't worry, once you got MR, you'll get PPR1 comparatively much faster than us. Usually we have to wait for at least 4 months to get PPR1 after medicals.

You were right, IOM refused to book an appointment without passports for whole family so this has become a serious problem :'(. Passport office guys are saying there are 6 lac passports in pending so its unlikely to get it before a month. I've written to London CHC about this and also found a couple more people in the same situation but not sure how to proceed. Not sure what to do now.

Oh thats is too bad. ??? I hope you'll be able to get passports soon. Even if you get them during next month than still you have much time left to go for Medical examination.

If not then don't worry CHC, London can understand your situation and I'm sure they'll give you extension for medical.

Right now you can send them all other documents without medical receipt just to make them sure that this delay was not your fault.

I can understand that late medical will may be cause a delay of couple of months in your visa processing but sometimes its better late then never, think positively

sorry to hear about your issue. its strange that IOM is not cooperating bcoz your problem is genuine. i also face similar problem during nomination phase but luckily I got my urgent passports in 15 days after pursuing it. Now a days it has become a regular problem with passports, So in case of new/renewal of passport one should always opt for urgent PP. I hope Inshallah you will get positive response from CHC london.

IOM can't really do anything...they are helpless...they have to follow the instruction given to them by CHC, London. They are not eligible to do medical examination without passport or even with expired passport. CHC, London just consider our passport as our real identification document.

Currently CHC, London is contacting us via email only. So you'll receive ALL correspondence via email. They'll send you Medical forms for each of your family member as an attachment via email.

You can add their email address in your contact/address list to avoid finding their mail in spam/junk mail folder. Here is their email:

Salam and thanks a lot so much for your kind and hopeful reply,InshAllah i will soon recive the reply from cic london but still i am little a bit

confused that will they send Additional documents request,MR,and all things in one E.mail or send step by step? and how much time cic

London will give to complete the MR,Because in June i am going on annual vactations to Pakistan,can i complete my Medical in Pakistan

or it will must be completed in Saudi Arabia? :-\

You should send them a Case Specific Enquiry via their website to inquire about ur status...I have seen that your e-cas changed to Inprocess in July 2012...I think at that time they used to send medical by post. I am saying this because my letter of approval got lost by postal service. I got nomination in July 2011 but did not receive any letter. After waiting for a long time in October 2011 I sent an inquiry to Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program and to my surprised I got a reply that they had already sent my LOA in July 2011 via snail mail.

"Application received" mean date when CIO, Nova Scotia received your complete application.

Your status will change to "In Process", 10-15 days before Medical request.

Afterwards, once I get done with my medicals later, is it mandatory that I send them the receipt? I ask because they just told me to send Medical Results which are sent automatically by IOM I understand.

Its better to send them Medical payment receipt just to let them know that you are done with your part on XXXX date. IOM usually send these results to New Delhi after few days so its better to inform CHC about your exact date of Medical.

Also sometimes New Delhi misplaced our medicals. Recently it happened to my close friend. He did his medical in November but he didn't send his payment receipt to CHC along with other documents. In January he received an email from CHC, London that they didn't receive his medical yet. When he informed them that he is already done with his Medical in Nov, then CHC asked for DHL tracking record. He got his tracking number from IOM & then he sent his tracking details to CHC. Afterwards, he received their email that we received your medical results & these are currently under review.

So my suggestion is to why to take any risk. We should inform CHC about exact date of medical by submitting payment receipt.

Great, thanks. I was just thinking that I'll courier all docs other than Medical in the next 2 weeks so these are not held up due to my passport issue and will get done with medical later within 60 day time once I get my passports.

What if they sent it via snail mail and it got lost by postal service??? This happened with my LOA. His case got IN-Process in June 2012 and they were sending MR by post till Nov 2012 as far as I remember. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Oh sorry I thought you are 2011 applicant. Yes, this delay is weird as you applied to CIO directly & you are an AINP applicant too.

Did you send a CSE(Case specific Enquiry) to CHC, London? If not then kindly send it as soon as possible & ask them about status of your file. Here is its link:
