I am starting this thread for all of the Pakistani applicants who submitted their files at CIO, Nova Scotia in 2012 after getting LOA.

I'll appreciate if you all members can share your timelines.

Dear All Members,

Any one have any information about latest time period for the Assessment of PNP Applications. I forward my Application on November. Additional Documents send in December. Last time i heared that PNP office interested for close the case of 2012 in the end of 2012. Any one who have idea kindly posted it.

Hi Rashid

If you apply under family stream than it will take 3-5 months to get LOA & if you applied under General Stream than it will take less than a year i.e 9-12 months.

I have query and needs info, in case of return of application from CIO , approx in how much time it is being received back from the date of receipt at cio. Also whether CIO inform on email regarding return as the normal mail service can not be relied. Any other way to get info from CIO. Needs advice pl

Hi

I'm not sure whether you got a reply to your query yet or not. But still I'm replying. According to my observations, it takes 2-3 months to receive back complete file from CIC, Nova Scotia. They send it via regular mail.

No CIC will not inform you on their own about status of your file but you can ask them about your file if they are taking more time then given time period of 6 weeks.

Alhamdolillah today I received MR(Medical request) & RPRF via email from CHC, London.

My E-Cas changed to "In process" on 10th January & a second line was added that "We started processing your file on 8th January" & on 17th January I received RPRF & MR from them.

I received MR almost after 4 months of submission of my requested documents.

It was written in my additional documents request that "review of documents can take upto 4 months". Same line is written in recent email too. So I assume that PPR1 will take 4 months too.

There are 2 ways to apply for MPNP :

1 : Apply online: Applicants in priority streams receive expedited processing by applying online. MPNP's online tool guides you through the steps to submit electronically all information and documents required in a successful application.

2 : Apply by mail: Applicants in the General stream are accepted by mail only, and receive regular processing.

If you apply online, then you'll be able to get nomination with in 3-4 months. While General Stream (applying by mail) took longer.

Following is the email that I receive from CHC, London in which they requested me to submit RPRF & Medical results within 60 days. Although Medical forms were sent in separate email.

Dear XXXXXXX,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

-Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee
-Medical results (please refer to separate email which will follow)


Please forward all requested documents together to the address below within 60 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority. Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention. Please quote your file number on all correspondence, including the envelope. Your file number is included in the subject field of this email.

Should your personal circumstances (address, marriage, divorce, birth, death, adoption) change between now and the time you leave for Canada you must report the changes to us. Visas issued without the correct information concerning family status are invalid and admission to Canada will be refused.

The issuance of an immigration visa does not ensure your eventual acceptance into the practice of your profession or occupation in Canada. It is your responsibility to determine whether any licensing/registration requirements apply to your occupation or profession in the province where you wish to settle. No its not just additional doc request but actually for Pakistani applicants, CHC, London is far slower as compared to others & MPNP applicants have the most slowest processing.

You are a Pak applicant too? you got Add Doc Req already?
