Hello Ume Rayan,
MPNP is requesting letter from financial institution indicating transferable funds. What kind of letter it should be. I am assuming banks won't be able to provide me any letter about gold or property. Where could I get letter saying that this amount is readily transferable.
An urgent response would be much appreciated.
Arby
Hi Arby

MPNP is asking for this letter in additional document request?

Did you upload any gold or property papers along with your bank statement?

If yes, then they may be they are asking for affidavit to show that this is your own gold or property & you can sell it at any time.

If you just uploaded bank statement along with initial application then may be they are asking for "Account Maintenance Certificate" which you'll get from your bank Manager. This certificate is basically a proof to show that you have an account in their bank & your money is free of any debts & you can transfer that money at any time.

I'm posting a sample of that letter. You can make changes according to your need:

"Account Maintenance Certificate"

To whom it may concern

We would like to confirm that the above account holder is our Priority Banking Customer. He/She maintains a current account xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with balances shown in the attached statement since dd.mm.yyyy. He/She is our valued customer having sound financial position.

The account holder does not have any financial obligations towards bank.

I hope that helps.

Thank you so much Ume Rayan,
Yes I did upload property and gold documents because I didn't have enough money in the bank. Do I need to provide them with an affidavit of property and gold declaring that it belongs to me and I can sell it any time I like. PLUS a statement from bank that I don't have any obligation to the bank.
Your prompt guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad if I could be of any assistance.

Yes you need to provide account maintenance letter, property & gold ownership papers, certified translation(if required), affidavit of an authorized person showing that this is your own gold/property & its current market value is Rs-------.

Kindly post your query at following forums as I don't know much about how to provide gold/property valuation documents.

Here is PNP applicants link:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/any-one-from-pakistan-apply-to-london-office-as-provincial-nominee-t45824.0.html

This is a link of Pakistani FSW forum:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pakistan-application-forum-t19839.0.html

By the way, I heard at CHC, London, gold/property valuation documents are not considered sufficient as a proof of funds. They just rely on bank statement & consider it as most authentic proof.

Hi Rashid

Yup they confirmed me on same day about receipt of my additional documents which were my transcripts.

Here is their email that I receive after sending my documents:

This is to acknowledge the receipt of your document.

Document will be uploaded accordingly.

Sincerely,

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

Online Application Support.

Did you write your MPNP file number on each page you send?

Well I wrote my MPNP file # on each scanned page, in email's subject and also I stated my name & file number at the end of my email where I told them about my documents.

May be now days due to so much work load, they are taking time in replying us back. But just to be on safe side, ask MPNP online help about receipt of your documents. Don't forget to mention your file# at the end.

But now I have the slowest as compared to other PNP applicants. All of them got MR after 1-2 months of Add Doc request & I didn't get it yet ???

My P.A told me that I have to wait for 4 months for review of additional documents that I sent

This means I'll get MR in January(or may be after Jan) while others will get PPR1 in January.

Re: All Pakistani PNP Applicants submitted file @ CIO in 2012

Hi all

Just wanted to inform you all that CHC, London is not accepting bank drafts (both Processing fees or RPRF) with incomplete address of Canadian bank from where it will be encashed.

When I paid my processing fees in June, I got my draft from from Western Union, Lahore(Money Exchanger). They wrote just the bank name i.e Imperial Bank of Canada(most probably) without its complete address.

But now CHC, London is returning such bank drafts where complete address is not mentioned. Most of FSW applicants got this issue recently when they pay their RPRF.

So to avoid such situation make sure to get a bank draft having complete address on it with post code too like:

Dollars East will give u a KASB Bank draft and address on draft will probably be:
Habib Canadian Bank. 918 Dundas STE
Mississauga On L4Y 4H9 Canada.

Wall street Money gram will make a Soneri Bank draft and the address on draft would be:
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
Commerce Court,
Toronto, Canada M5L 1A2

A&A exchange will give you a UBL draft. On their draft address of bank would be:
Bank of Montreal
International Branch
129 ST JASQUES, 10th floor,
MONTREAL QUEBEC H2Y 1L6, CANADA

You can confirm this before getting a bank draft. Its better to be safe to avoid any delays.

Bank drafts from Dollar East, A & A & Wall street Money gram are always accepted without any problems. All of these are Money Exchangers.

Re: All Pakistani PNP Applicants submitted file @ CIO in 2012

Salam Alekum everyone,

I was recently nominated under “FSW Backlog Reduction Pilot” by Ontario and have applied for PR to CIO, Nova Scotia in November. I had a couple of questions for our more experienced forum member and would appreciate clarification:

- I've been confused by different processing times for PNP applications provided by London VO (6 months) and CIC (23 months) website. Can anybody confirm the going trend (Actually I've got the option to apply for Open Work Permit so want to be sure if its worth the hassle as it also takes 4 to 9 months).
- My understanding was that next step after CIO submission is that CIO/Visa office (not sure) asks for writeup on plans to settle in Canada and some other documents within 60-day timeframe. However, recent applicant in my stream seem to be waiting for MR after AOR (CIO). Would appreciate if someone could summarize next stages and timeline after submission to CIO.

Thanks,
Fahad

London Visa Office is too much unpredictable specially in case of Pakistani applicants. But now a days, they are taking 6-14 months to issue PR visa. Many Alberta nominees got stamped visa within 7 months & on the other hand SINP & MPNP applicants are still waiting for MR. So Alberta nominees are their top priority these days.

Yes after CIO submission you'll get AOR from CIO, then you'll get "Additional Document Request" from CHC, London within 2 months. Afterwards you'll get MR(Medical Request) within 2-6 months & after medicals you'll get PPR1 within 2-6 months. Last step is PPR2 which will take 2-4 months & finally you'll get stamped passports back within a month. So basically there are 5 steps to get PR visa i.e

1: AOR(CIO)

2: ADR(Additional Documents Request) from CHC, London

3: MR(Medical Request)

4: PPR1(Passport request 1)

5: PPR2(Passport Request 2).
I hope that helps.
