I personally don't understand y we Pakistani r so reluctant to speak about our rights? Sending an e-mail won't harm anyone it may help us. Don't think that Canada is doing some sort of help us giving us the immigration. They need us that's y they give immigration. It's a tit for tat we want better life and they want skilled people on whom they didn't spend any money and we go there and contribute in their economy and contribute in their tax money so that they can provide unemployment and old age benefits to their people.

I would say have some heart and shoot an e-mail about all this delay process.

If you believe that 25 emails will make a difference, then you are likely to be disappointed.

The Internet Usage Based Billing issue in Canada had about 200,000 signatures when it got the governments attention; the final number was over 420,000 signatures.
And now the subject is being reassessed.

I am not saying you should not do this, you most certainly should.
But I think you need to be aware that a few emails to politicians are not likely to change things, they see that level of input as background noise - maybe there is a better way?

Email Subject. Urgent query

Dear Honourable Minister Kenny,

Put your details here
Name
DOB
Address
File NO.

I am taking this opportunity to write to you regarding the long tiring wait that has been faced by many Pakistani applicants for a long time. Sir, I applied for FSW program on “put date here” and it has been almost “put time here” years / months that there is no decision on my application. Sir, if you compare Pakistani applicants with any other nationality you would observe that its only us that have been singled out. The reasons given for these delays are so called lengthy security / back ground checks.

Sir, many of us have sacrificed other good career options just in favour of Canada as we think your great country Canada is the best place in the world to go and settle down. Our family lives have been affected badly and many of us are now suffering from depression and anxiety but this long wait is not coming to end.

I therefore request your highness to please look into the matter and give instructions to visa offices to start issuing visas to Pakistani applicants.

We will highly appreciate your co-operation and consideration.

Hope to hear from you soon and thanking you in anticipation.

Kind Regards
