U should apply for funding first. Try ur luck, but I afraid ur CGPA is not up to the mark. Other than funding, with Tk. 20 lacs u can only manage ur expense in Memorial University. Coz their tuition is lowest among English speaking provinces in Canada. Like M.Sc. cost u CAD 953 per semester. Living cost about CAD 750 per month. But don't go for M.Engg. of MUN because that course cost u special fees which is almost CAD 15,000 extra.

Apart from those subject, you can always apply directly to the university using OUAC service.

Solvency certificate from Bank, Sponsor's Fixed asset evaluation by CA.

Hi Rasel Vai,
I myself showing my own FDR (Bank statement of FDR) and Fixed Asset Evaluation by CA (Notarized copy). But I didn't get the point of "Solvency Certification from Bank" of my sponsor??

Also, I am preparing my own document. Can you please suggest me on the followings:

- I will submit my current employers (Employment cert and Salary statement) doc. I will also submit my previous employers doc (Appointment latter, Employment cert, Salary cert) whatever I have. Do I need to do notary to any of these documents??

- I will submit my birth certificate and NIC. Do I need to do notary to these documents??

সহজ ভাষায় বললে, মূল কপি ছাড়া যেকোন ফটোকপি নোটারী করে জমা দিতে হবে। এটা অবশ্য কোথাও বলা নাই, কিন্তু সবাই করে। নোটারী করা মানে হচ্ছে আপনি যে ফটোকপি জমা দিয়েছেন তা সঠিক, কারন নোটারী পাবলিক আপনার মূল কপি দেখে ফটোকপি সত্যায়িত করেছেন (যদিও বাংলাদেশে কোন নোটারী পাবলিক মূল কপি দেখতেও চায় না।)।

আপনার নিজের নামে FDR হলেও, Solvency Certificate জমা দিতে হবে। তবে সেক্ষেত্রে ব্যাংক থেকে আপনার নামে এটা ইস্যু করবে। আপনি Solvency Certificate এ আপনার নাম, বাবার নাম, পাসপোর্ট অনুযায়ী স্থায়ী ঠিকানা, FDR একাউন্ট নম্বর, একাউন্ট খোলার তারিখ, বর্তমান টাকার পরিমান এবং কানাডিয়ান মুদ্রায় টাকার পরিমান উল্লেখ করতে ব্যাংকে রিকোয়েস্ট করবেন। প্রয়োজন হলে নিজে একটা Solvency Certificate Draft করে সঙ্গে নিয়ে যাবেন।

আপনার চাকুরী সংক্রান্ত যত কাগজপত্র আছে, সেগুলোর মধ্যে যে যে ডকুমেন্ট আপনার পজিটিভ মনে হবে তা সব দেবেন। সাথে আপনার গত ২ বছরের ট্যাক্স ক্লিয়ারেন্স। আপনার চাকুরীর বয়স ২ বছরের বেশি হলে আপনার CV ও দিতে হবে।

I have called CUAC and they told they do not process file for ms in computer science.They suggest me to apply myself.
So far i have got this from university of regina
Program Tuition & Fees: $6763.65
Visa Student Charge: $2400
(based on $800/semester)
Books & Supplies :$1000
(estimate; depends on course chosen)
Accommodations:$7800
(estimate based on campus residence rates)
Meals:$6000
(estimate based on self-prepared meals costing about $500/month)
Transportation:$636
(based on 12 Regina Transit monthly bus passes for post-secondary students costing $53 each)
Total: $24,600
Is it true that i have to show this $24600 as liquid?
is it will be wise, if i apply for uni of regina?
Deadline of memorial uni completed.
FYI: my father can give me around 50 thousand every month(it will be shame for me to take this money but.................)
i am trying to manage professor but no luck.

I got acceptance on march 04...took a lot of tym to apply

I applied today n wrote student in employment section n gave details of my school.

I will ask all the members to pray for me n i pray that all of them who applied gets their visa

First of all WELCOME 8)

Well... the kind of situation you have right at this moment... it is really difficult for your to bet for Fall 2013 session... just like tomsware, I'd also suggest you to apply for either Winter 2014 or it would be a bit wise to apply for Fall 2014... why I am saying wise is b'cos... you'll get some time to finalize which university would be best for you in terms of Course & Money!!! You'll also get some time to manage some funds (from salary or other means)... you can also try for some funds from university in terms of scholarships or !!! ... but right now... applying to any university would be a tough job... dates are all over... September is the session and you do not have sufficient time for application and then visa process... so just relax a bit and then move again... I am sure you'll be able to make your place in any good raked university next year InshAllah... also you can ask for help from your new friends from this forum who are heading for this Fall to help you for next Fall ;D... The final destination should be to get the FALL (Fruit) of your hard work... All the best dear... Cheers...

Email some Professors talking about your interests and whether they have any vacancy in their group. Make your decision based on that. Generally funds are available for Fall terms because that is when students all around the world will apply and Professors will want to see the entire pool. In the mean time you can work on your profile. Research, GRE and etc. A good gre score can really make your case strong.
